The card didn’t make me a professional. The years it took to earn it did. 🌐

When I started competing, I thought this journey was about building a better physique.

More muscle. Better conditioning. Better posing. Higher placings.

Somewhere along the way, bodybuilding started exposing things that had nothing to do with muscle:

My patience. My ego. My relationship with failure. My ability to remain committed when effort wasn’t immediately rewarded. My willingness to surrender the timeline while honoring the work.

Most importantly—who I was when nobody was clapping.

This road was anything but linear.

2022: 3rd → 4th
2023: 🥇 → 🥇 → Overall
2024: 9th → 8th → 3rd
2025: 12th.

Everybody celebrates the picture holding the card. Few see you backstage after giving everything, staring at a placing you don’t understand and asking:

Do I need a different dream… or do I need to become different for the dream?

I chose the latter.

That required humility—to be coached, see myself objectively, admit where I wasn’t good enough yet, and change without abandoning who I was.

That’s mastery to me.

Not arriving, but meeting yourself at your edge, releasing the ego attached to where you think you should be, and becoming a beginner again.

So I returned.

2025 San Francisco: 🥇
2026 St. Pete: 🥇 + Overall
2026 USA Championships: 2nd — IFBB PRO. 🌐

And when it happened…I was still me.

The card wasn’t the transformation.

It was the receipt.

The losses. Hunger. Exhaustion. Doubt. Discipline. Getting back up without allowing disappointment to harden me—that was the initiation.

Bodybuilding became another classroom. The iron another teacher. It didn’t always give me what I wanted. It gave me what I needed to grow.

To my coaches, family, brothers, friends and every competitor who sharpened me—there are fingerprints from a lot of people on this card. Thank you.

Every summit reveals another mountain.

Back to being a student.
Back to becoming.

And somewhere in the distance is another stage. ⭕️

#411.
One final walk across an NPC stage.
I didn’t know exactly how the story would end—I just knew I had emptied the tank writing

The goal has been to keep far down and be within striking distance for when prep starts! If you know me, I constantly want more and to be better.
