Following on my last post:
And then in 2022 Alain created the Cartomancer Shadow Edition. This was Dan LeVin's first cut of that brilliant follow-up to the original Cartomancer deck.

This is a very powerful pair of cut decks.

Here's the place where two great artists came together - Alain Benoit and Dan LeVin. Alain created the first of two beautiful Cartomancer decks in 2018 and then Dan cut one up and posted it on Instagram. Already a fan of Dan's work, I snapped it up. It was the first of three original Cartomancer cuts, if I'm not mistaken.

The Cartomancer deck is one of the most artistic and creative decks from this modern Renaissance in playing card design. The deck won a well deserved Deck of the Year award at the 2018 @52plusjoker convention. If you were there, you may remember Alain in his top hat.

Playing card bags are here! I got the pattern down for the average size deck and this is the first (and currently only one) available. Beautiful, colorful floral leather with a brass and amethyst clasp. There will be more in the future but for now, make this one yours while it’s here.

Yesterday I had one of the worst migraines I’ve had in a while. It always starts on one side of my damn head and if I sleep on it, I wake up with it on the other side and it’s absolutely debilitating. But the good news is, I just added two new turquoise Ariella Necklaces I didn’t have the bandwidth to photograph. Choose between chestnut or dark brown. 🦋
