⌨️ Synth geek alert!!! ⌨️
🛠️
My beloved 70’s Octave Cat needed a repair so luckily I have a friend @cary.grace (who was fixing her motorbike when I showed up, is a songwriter in a folk rock band and generally impressive polymath!!) that could revive the synth.
In a world of fast fashion, food and obsolete digital goods it’s so reassuring to have some things that stand the test of time, in fact get BETTER with age….
In this video Cary gets to the guts of the machine and succeeds in bringing her back to life!! Many thanks… 🙏

What’s your oldest possession? A family heirloom, old car, or jewellery box?

It’s the final weekend of @fromeopenarttrail 2022 and I’m opening up my garden studio from 10-4 today (Friday) until Sunday... venue 16 in the guide (15 Beechwood Avenue BA11 2AX) .. expect an eclectic collection of new and past photography work.. and also me slumped on a sofa planning a revolution. And... if nudity in art troubles you then either wear a blindfold or do the open gardens thing instead xx #frome #fromeopenarttrail2022 @frome.festival @discoverfrome work in display includes collaborations with @melissastantonmatthews81 @feraline._ @vicki_burke_musician @cary.grace
