FORSVEGAS, my fifth official solo project, is out now 🐈‍⬛ I worked on this entire project from April 2025 to August 2026, drawing inspiration from my hometown, my heartbreaks, loneliness, and the parts of myself I am not most proud of FORSVEGAS is a concept release. Between each song is a brief interlude set in a radio station called FORSVEGAS 102.6 FM, run by Marilyn Chambers (played by Alex Wolfie). During this time, I met some amazing musicians who became some of my closest friends, and I asked a few of them to jump on this project. I would like to thank @jackthebreadguy_music, @mrs_may_blue, @alexx_wolfie, @lucaaella and @caryarcher for all contributing to this project in some shape or form. I would also like to thank you for taking the time to read this, as I wouldn’t have had the motivation to make a project this big without your support. ❤️‍🔥 FORSVEGAS is out now on all streaming platforms. Please let me know which track hits the hardest for you! 🐈‍⬛❤️‍🔥 - braidyn personnel: (songs) all lead vocals, backing vocals, songwriting, production, recording, instruments, mixing & mastering are all performed by Braidyn Collins except where noted: electric guitar (track 1, 15), songwriting & acoustic guitar (track 15) - @jackthebreadguy_music songwriting, lead vocals, backing vocals - @mrs_may_blue (track 5) songwriting, lead vocals, backing vocals - @alexx_wolfie (track 15) songwriting, vocals, backing vocals - @lucaaella (track 19) personnel: (skits) all skits are written by Braidyn Collins & @alexx_wolfie cast: marilyn chambers - @alexx_wolfie advertisement (track 6) - @lucaaella advertisement 2 (track 18) - @caryarcher album artwork by @ivs.photography7

I had made a post about Cary Archer’s new song “Halo Goodbye” over here on the Substack notes section, but I wanted to go full article and give this track some further spread if I could. I’m not yet sure if Cary intends this to be part of another album down the line (as he prepares to release a full length debut this year), but I hope it is as I feel like this is a continued peek into where the artist is going. How he’s blending rap, singing, slackery-y nodded guitar playing, and so much more into a cohesive package that’s bringing something to the table I’ve never really seen. He’s a rare creative beast out living in these wilds, and it would be an injustice not to shed some light on how he’s finding his sound. Cary is part of that group of special musicians that keep me going, and I’m always gonna be in his corner getting his creations out there. Take a listen, see what you think, and I hope you enjoy it! SURPRISE DROP ALERT! If you’ve been reading my recent article publications, you may have noticed the recent analysis I did on Aussie musician @caryarcher and his single “Cut Foot.” Well, I’ve been excited to get around to announcing that I also did a quick interview with Cary as well, and I just was waiting for a time to drop it out there! I really like this guy so much, not only for being a distinct talent but he’s incredibly humble and was so kind to take the time (from across the world mind you) to talk with me for a little bit. I really had such fun doing this interview and I hope Cary and I get to chat again down the road. The fact he’s a fellow Mac Miller fan and is going to be making a trip from Australia to record at ID Labs studios where Mac got his start is just the coolest thing. I hope to have a part two down the road to talk more about that! Interview link in my bio and up in my stories! #music #interview #caryarcher #cutfoot #writer #journalist #substack #indie @localsoundsradio

I recently made mention of indie musician @caryarcher and wanting to talk more about him here on this publication. Well, that time is now! Thanks go out to the great folks at Australia’s @localsoundsradio for connecting me to Archer, who has a really cool genre sound fusion that’s very much his own thing (while also being spurred on by influences like rapper Mac Miller). His latest single here is “Cut Foot,” though by the sounds of it, Archer has a lot more material still on the way. And something tells me that I’m not quite done yet bringing you into the world of Cary Archer… read the piece at the link in my bio or up in my stories! #music #writer #substack #journalism #caryarcher #cutfoot #review #indie
