Get acquainted with the selectors soon to rock your world downstairs this Friday:

JD
No stranger to a set of turntables, JD has been an active selector in our scene for some time; setting local bars and dance floors ablaze in her wake. Along with her deep and carefully curated bag of records, JD also has the experience and ability to place on the platter the exact required vibe.

Luk
With a keen ear for the warm crackle and hiss, Uruguayan-born Luk has spent decades steadily planting his feet right where he wants them. Ever since his early exposures to dance music, Luk has never settled for one sound; constantly digging and collecting between each shade and frequency out there. His local parties through @espaciotiemponaarm give Luk a space to showcase his favourite music and artists. Luk has also created an impressive discography of mixes, notably his The Sizeable Mix featured on @kalaharioystercult.

Spuds & Kissa
Long term partners in life and behind the decks, Spuds & Kissa have spent years developing their musical tastes alongside one another, while each carving out a style of their own. Their individual approaches to digging, selecting and mixing naturally complement each other, allowing them to bounce between sounds, moods and energies without losing their own flavour. Couples that spin together stay together, and once you hear these two together on Friday you’ll be sure to stay too.

24 OCTOBER - GOT THE SAUCE returns to @solace.bar / Our special guest announcement is here.

TOM PETERS | BERLIN

A powerhouse in queer nightlife, TOM PETERS brings house and groovy techno with plenty of attitude. Diva vocals, Latin percussion and tribal rhythms meet the raw energy of Berlin and the flamboyance of New York. Sweaty, sensual and right up our alley.

With appearances at Panorama Bar, Berghain and SNAX, plus regular sets at Lab.Dance, @tompetersworld is well acquainted with Berlin’s queer dancefloors. In New York, he has held a residency at Susanne Bartsch’s ON TOP at Le Bain since 2016, alongside appearances at Horse Meat Disco and Basement NYC.

Mentored by Kevin McHugh, whose history spans Danny Tenaglia, Maxi Records and Club Vinyl, his connection to house goes well beyond the booth. He has collaborated with Honey Dijon and is the founder of @dessert.berlin and @berlinciagay.de supporting artists and the queer club culture that runs through his sound.

Picture This:

Clocks have gone back, the sun stays up an extra hour for the first time in 6 months. You sit out on a quiet street surrounded by your friends sipping cheap carafes of chilled red and sharing plates of delicious food looking out over the cityscape. House music drifts gently from inside, life feels about as sweet as it can.

Earth Tones teams up with our friends over at @raffys___ once again for a Sunday Session of good tunes, good sips, good bites and good times, soundtracked by some of our favourite selectors, to celebrate the return of long Summer days to come. If that sounds like your idea of fun, join us next Sunday.

For The Moments We Share.
