#CDMX #foodie #comidamexicana #mexicocity #mexicofood

POV: you came to Oaxaca for tacos… but found out they have 150+ ways to eat corn 🌽😳 From tlayudas to tejate, every bite tastes like history. If you leave without trying a food tour… did you even visit Oaxaca? 👀✨ #foodie #oaxacatravel #oaxacatours #oaxaca #gastronomy

POV: You came to Oaxaca for a “relaxing vacation”… and left with +3 kilos and zero regrets. 😭🔥 how do you say no to: tlayudas, mole negro, mole coloradito, mole amarillo, memelas, quesillo, chapulines, tamales oaxaqueños, empanadas de amarillo, caldo de piedra, barbacoa, tasajo, cecina enchilada, sopa de guías, chileajo, garnachas del Istmo, tejate, chocolate de agua, pan de yema… and of course, mezcal? Exactly. You don’t. At some point, it’s no longer a vacation… it’s a full-time eating experience with emotional consequences (and tighter jeans). But here’s the truth: Every bite tells a story. Every dish is culture, history, and love served on a plate. So yes… maybe you leave Oaxaca a little heavier. But also happier, fuller, and with memories that weigh so much more. ❤️✨ Worth it? 100%. Every. Single. Bite. 🌮🔥 #OaxacanFood #oaxaca #food #tour #mexico

After a month of backpacking and sleeping in my fair share of bunks, here are my top 5 (budget-friendly but still a little boujie) hostels in Mexico and why they stood out: 🏝️ Mapache Hostel (Isla Holbox): Laid back island vibes, eco-friendly and the perfect base, whether you want to stroll to the beach nearby or lounge in a hammock. I LOVED our little a-frame beach hut! @mapachehostel 💚 Casa Angel (Oaxaca): A nice social atmosphere (without being a ‘party hostel’), especially during happy hour each evening at the rooftop bar. They organise great tours too (highly recommend a midweek food tour or the Sunday day trip to Hierve el Agua)! @casaangelhostel 🏙️ Casa Pancha (CDMX): With a gorgeous Scandinavian aesthetic, this felt more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Quiet, clean and so comfortable. @casapancha 🌴 Che Hostel (Valladolid): Best beds ever and a great place to relax by the pool after a busy day exploring cenotes, Chichén Itzá or Río Lagartos! @chehostels 🛶 The Yak Lake House (Bacalar): Right on the lagoon with direct pier access, lots of water activities, a great bar/restaurant and space to lounge in the sun, all open to the public. @theyaklakehouse 🏨 All booked on @hostelworld 🇲🇽 Save this list for your Mexico backpacking trip! #MexicoHostel #MexicoTravelTips #MexicoItinerary #VisitMexico #MexicoBackpacking

📍 Mexico City: 10 wins, 3 things I’d change and just 1 of the many reasons I’m already plotting my return ✈️🇲🇽✨ Planning a trip to CDMX? Save this post so you can have just as much fun as I did (minus the mistakes 🙃)! #MexicoCity #CDMX #MexicoCityGuide #VisitMexico #MexicoCityEats

HEART THE LOVER by Lily King This had everything, the kind of writing I love, exploring the intricacies, softness, depth of living. I loved this, and while I’ll usually write a review describing and dissecting a book at length to represent the piece and my opinions most truthfully, I don’t want to attempt that for this one. Read it with no knowledge and take the ride <3 Looking forward to reading Writers & Lovers now! What did everyone think of this one?
