Mudita (aka Sage Burton) is a DJ and emerging producer whose presence in the scene is both prominent and deliberately elusive. Known for lighting up dancefloors across Australia’s east coast for the past four years, she captivates crowds with her signature fusion of psychedelic techno, progressive rhythms, rolling basslines and punchy, hypnotic grooves. Performing at iconic Melbourne venues such as My Aeon, Brown Alley and Revolver, Mudita has built a strong reputation through word of mouth. She never uploads mixes, preferring to keep her craft shrouded in mystery — and she thrives on the thrill of dancers never quite knowing what she’ll deliver next. Guided by the Sanskrit concept Mudita—“vicarious joy: taking delight in the happiness of others”—she channels that ethos into every performance, and every event she puts on. “There’s nothing more rewarding than facilitating that joy.” 2026 will be marking a new chapter as she steps boldly into her production and events journey—an artist simultaneously hard to pin down, yet impossible to miss. With over four years of dedicated experience behind the decks, he channels high-energy, mind-expanding sets that blend deep, driving basslines with a uniquely immersive atmosphere—pulling dancefloors into a world where rhythm, emotion, and transcendence collide. His signature sound has taken him from intimate underground gatherings to major bush doofs such as Esoteric, as well as iconic clubs and large-scale festivals across the country.
