While at CHCC Caden received a wonderful learning experience from a great professional staff. During his 3 months, he was hands on in all operations such as, junior golf, tournament operations, merchandising, club repair, and plenty of playing and practice opportunities. Caden said that the mentorship he received was outstanding and more than he expected. He firmly believes that because of his internship at Cascade Hills, he is better prepared and confident for his next internship at Fox Chapel Golf Club!

“ This internship was more than expected and really helped me grow as an individual and Golf Professional.”

A heartfelt thank you to the entire Cascade Hills Country Club team for giving Caden such a meaningful, growth‑focused internship experience.

A softer take on fall at Cascade Hills. 🍂

For this Grand Rapids celebration, we let the season whisper rather than speak too loudly. A delicate palette of warm, muted fall tones layered with the freshness of spring.

Romantic florals, refined details, and just enough color to make the setting feel playful without ever feeling overdone. The result was timeless, effortless, and quietly luxurious.

A beautiful reminder that a fall wedding can feel light, fresh, and completely its own.

Emerson+Trey. A romantic and classic wedding on a sweet summer day.

What I loved most about their wedding is how much they made it about the people they loved the most. Enjoy a little snippet of their summer wedding.

Rebecca + Joshua Wieber 🤍

This day was SO them. Beautiful, classic, a little bit of blue, and an absolute PARTY by the end of the night.

From Rebecca’s mom hand-beading the most beautiful pearl arm detail for her dress, to those dreamy blue hydrangeas, running around the golf course together, a late-night Yesterdog snack, and a bridal party that made SURE that dance floor never emptied… there were so many little pieces of this day that I loved.

But one of my favorites had to be the very end. While everyone headed outside to get ready for their sparkler exit, Rebecca + Joshua stayed behind for one final dance together. Just the two of them, an empty dance floor, and a few minutes to soak in the fact that THEY WERE MARRIED. 🥹

And then, obviously, you finish the night running through all of your favorite people holding sparklers. ✨

Mr. + Mrs. Wieber, you two were an absolute JOY. Thank you for trusting me to capture it all. 🤍

One of my favorite messages to receive after a wedding is from a photographer sharing a gallery.

When @meganadleyphoto shared these images, I was particularly excited to see how she captured not only the cake as a whole but also the tiny details that made it unique.

Because those details matter.

And not only to me.

I can remake a design. I can pipe another ruffle, print another cookie, and arrange another dessert table. But for the couple, those details belonged to one day only.

They chose them intentionally. They planned them. They invested in them. Sometimes, a tiny detail has a story behind it that no one else in the room even knows.

So when a photographer or videographer takes a few extra moments to capture the texture on a cake, the flowers tucked between macarons, the personalized favors, the little finishing touches on a tart, or the dessert table once the guests are actually interacting with it, they are preserving something the couple will otherwise never get to see again.

I know wedding days are chaos. I know shot lists are long, timelines move, people need to be gathered, light changes, and there are a hundred important moments competing for attention.

This is exactly why I appreciate the creatives who still notice the small sweet details.

This is part appreciation post and part gentle plea from someone who spends many, many hours bringing those details to life:

Please photograph them.

Please film them.

Especially when they are temporary.

A cake gets cut. Desserts disappear. Favors go home with guests. An interactive dessert experience may exist for only an hour.

The couple can not recreate that moment later.

Beautiful detail photography isn't just lovely content for the vendor who made it. It becomes part of the couple's memory of everything they so carefully chose for their wedding.

So to the photographers and videographers who make room in an already very full wedding day to capture those details: THANK YOU.

We notice. And I promise, the couples will be grateful you did too.

The Stanek Wedding

Kamryn + Matt had a gorgeous wedding at the Cascade Hills Country Club. Even with it raining all day, there were so many beautiful spots to take photos indoors.
These two know how to throw an awesome party! Their dance floor was packed all night long!

I wish them many, many years of wedded bliss.
