Exploring Gozo by @scottbikes_offical electric mountain bike (Neo) is the perfect way to uncover the island’s beauty. The bike was amazing and held up under some real pressure-Cycling along rugged trails, I passed the historic salt plains of Marsalforn, shimmering with centuries of tradition. The ride revealed hidden beaches tucked between cliffs, their crystal-clear waters and golden sands offering peaceful seclusion. Along the coast, stunning Mediterranean views unfolded at every turn. Beyond the shoreline, Gozo boasts the ancient Ġgantija Temples, the impressive Citadel in Victoria, and charming villages full of character. Traveling by bike gives the freedom to reach both iconic landmarks and secret spots, making Gozo truly unforgettable.

I got that dawg in me 🔥👊🏻🥋😤.

Armbar defence level 9000.

On a serious note though, I still feel very disconnected after what happened in Abu Dhabi. I don't feel like myself at all and emotionally I feel a little vacant. I know that under the circumstances I performed well because I was put in an unfair bracket when there were clearly better options but that's also the thing that hurts the most and I'm not going to hide from how I feel. I truly believe if I am put in a fair fight I have the capability to become world champion.

Regardless, I know that people often post highlights after their wins and to be honest I didn't think I had any highlights to post but after some thought I realised that what I did from a defensive point of view in these fights was nuts. Despite my opponents using both arms and legs to try and armbar me, they couldn't. When you see in training or sparring how many people hit armbars, coupled with the fact that I was using just my arms it really puts my strength into perspective, further emphasised by the fact that the final of my bracket was finished in 1m10s by submission. I need to start having a bit more self belief. It still feels raw, yes but I shouldn't let that take away from how I performed because that's the thing that was in my control.

With all that being said, here are my highlights 😎🔥.

Deadlifts were great. Honestly 200kg was to easy, i had all the reason to go for a pr there, but remained focused on adapting from Switching to hook grip (which I'll still pull Sumo with👍🏻) to mix on conventional. Really like it!!

▪︎ 170kg
▪︎ 200kg
▪︎ 205kg rpe bicep nearing it's grave lol 💀

@adwpjjc @uaejjf World Para Jiu Jitsu Bronze Medalist 🥉.

I don't normally like receiving a medal in a two or three man bracket when losing as I often get the sense that it's just a participation medal. However this one is different. I definitely feel like I earnt this medal. I was put in a bracket with the odds stacked against me and I fought like hell and showed so much heart defending multiple submission attempts across 10 minutes. I may not be as fast or mobile but I have a level of grit and determination that you cannot teach and I got to showcase that on a world stage. People even commented on it. No matter the odds or situation I will fight like hell because I want to be someone people can look to and know that they shouldn't limit themselves. So while I may not have won today in regard to the type of medal I got I definitely won in many other arguably more important ways. To @aryabjj my academy @purejiujitsu and all my other professors @leslieowusu_ and @blingbjj it was an absolute honour representing you guys at this level. The belief you have in me means a ton. @s.enrique_bracho my bro thank you for constantly striving to make me better. It was awesome to do this comp as part of @parajiujitsuuk with my guys @legless9 and @justinlevene . Justin what you have done for me and the support and belief you always give me means more than you will ever know. Love you bro 💙. It was also wicked putting some names to some faces and getting to meet my bro @the_one_handed_bandit_bjj and @benkunzle @steph_the_tinytornado @elcirleybjj.official and @zest_4_life . This experience was awesome. Thank you to my family for giving me the chance to compete too and my friends for their support. I hope to continue to make you all proud and I will continue to show the world why I have the nickname "Death Grip" 🥋👊🏻💙.
