There are no words that feel big enough for this loss 💔

CJ… my best buddy for almost four years. We shared more slumber parties, adventures, and memories than I could ever count. He wasn’t just a client- he was family. My life was exponentially better with him in it.

He spent a ton of holidays with us too, truly becoming a part of our home and our traditions. He loved nothing more than curling up next to me, napping by the fireplace, completely content just being together. My whole family loved him so deeply- he became a staple in the Grosjean household💛

I’ll never forget his little turkey gobble when he got excited, his splooty booty, his crazy rockstar tongue, and those bouncy hops of pure joy. His zoomies with his best friend Oakley, his gentleness with his lil bestie soph, his big feathery tail wagging, and the way he’d nudge my leg for more scratches. And of course… spoon-feeding him his meals, because CJ was boujee like that and believed everything should be done together. 🫶🏻

He was truly one of the sweetest, happiest, most loving souls to ever exist. A once-in-a-lifetime kind of dog.

My heart will forever have a CJ-sized hole in it.

My heart is with his incredible family during this unimaginably difficult time. I am so deeply grateful they trusted me with his care, loved me enough to include me in his life, and gave me the chance to say goodbye.

What a blessing it is to know and love a soul like CJ 💛

The only comfort is knowing he’s no longer in pain… and that he’s somewhere running free, doing endless zoomies and swimming, just the way he loved.

Forever my favorite boy. Always family. 🐾✨

It was the biggest privilege of my life to be goose’s mom💛 The heart break of losing him will always motivate me to help as many dogs as I can...

Consider fostering or adopting a senior dog, they may just change your whole life for the better🫶🏻
