Alice in Wonderland was a dream come true. A role that came as a complete surprise and ended as one of my most cherished experiences 💙✨

✨These people, this moment, I will be cherishing for my lifetime✨

I was not expecting to cry unabashedly as I was performing my last piece on stage, trying to hold it together. This last bow I didn’t even try to hold back the tears because I was so happy to have all my favorite people on that stage to take one final bow together.

My dream at 6 years old was to become a professional ballet dancer. Who knew that little girl would have the privilege to perform 12 years professionally along side the most gracious, kind and incredibly inspiring women.

To my dad that took me to every ballet class, watched every performance growing up. Took me to my first pointe shoe fitting and who I call before every performance, you mean the world to me.

To my family who grew up watching recitals to watching me perform professionally thank you for your love and support all these years. A special note to both my Grandma and Aunt Marci. You both make my heart whole.

✨Season 15 the end of my career as a professional ballet dancer and the beginning of something special to come✨

Oh Alice, you were good to every part of me except for my toenails 😂. This ballet will always have a very special place in my heart as I was able to share the stage for the last time with two of the most beautiful and inspiring dancers I have gotten to work with for the last 10 years. @erinkatejames and @annamswen thank you for sharing your beautiful art and continuously inspiring me.
