Enchanted Rock in Texas 🪨

It’s a huge granite hill in the middle of the Hill Country — simple, quiet, but there’s something about it that makes you stop and pay attention. Native American tribes saw it as a sacred place, and it’s easy to understand why. They believed it held a special kind of energy — and honestly, you can feel it.

When I reached the top and looked out over the landscape, everything felt still. Peaceful. Like the place has been carrying stories way older than we can imagine.

What really struck me, though, was how much life there is — even on the bare rock. Tiny flowers, stubborn patches of grass, little insects — all finding their place. It’s a quiet reminder that life can grow and thrive even in the toughest, most unexpected places.

Thank you, Casey and Jill, for showing me this gem of Texas.

Texas Hill Country trip.
Best birthday spent in the saddle!

We packed our horses, tack, and boots, and set off on our Texas Hill Country adventure - ready to breathe deeply, let the horses stretch out, change the scenery and gain some fresh perspective and experience.

Thank you, Jill and Casey, for introducing me to yet another stunning corner of Texas. From the rolling hills and rocky trails to the wide open spaces and shaded forest paths, every moment was a beautiful reminder of how fortunate I am to live this life doing what I truly love.

Inside leg to outside rein, using the horses curiosity to draw the eye into the bend. You start your bend with your hips and shoulders and the eye is the head is the last thing part of my horse to go into the turn. Notice there is only one rein on the Obi

I am so grateful I have had the opportunity to learn from Manolo Mendez (@manolomendez.dressage) I highly recommend equestrians of all disciplines check out his offerings. Its dressage at its original intention and a foundation for healthy movement for all horses.

His way of being with the horses is something to behold. Watching him Dance with the horses up the levels in dressage restored my hope that we can help the horses accomplish a high level of exquisite movement without compromising the health of the horse! His intention is to help the horse thrive and last as long as possible. To do this without sacrificing the horse to reach a goal before they are ready!

Manolo and Jillian Kreinbring (@jkinspiredllc) always give us a master class on how to help the horse move in a beautiful, organic and healthy way and I feel like the biggest theme for these three days with Manolo and Jillian was to meet every horse where they're at with curiosity, love and kindness. Horses want to connect with you, they want to be celebrated and they are inherently kind. We have the possibility to amplify all those beautiful qualities that they naturally embody!

And how do we do this???

Keep it simple and ask the universe for support!

Listen and learn from the horse. They will show you what they love and where they need support.

Connect to your childlike wonder and joy of being with the horses.

Think like a horse and show them with our bodies asking/offering little by little so that they feel comfortable to give in return! Trying to never ask too much or take too much or the horse will go bankrupt and if they are nervous they will have nothing to give. If they get nervous don't force them, try a different way!

Keep them supple in the body so they can stay supple in the mind, testing everything for them to see what inspires them. This keeps things dynamic, fluid and adaptable keeping the connection and line communication vibrant with the horse!

The first day of Manolo Mendez (@manolomendez.dressage) was spectacular 💜💜💜

We saw a diverse group of horses dance with Manolo from all levels of dressage with relaxation, ease and joy. Each one taught us so much. And one of my favorite quotes from today was "horses always teach us something and I ask myself how can I do better for myself and my horse?"

This message was carried out throughout the whole day. We must stay curious and not just do things because that's how they've been done and that it's our job to test everything for the horse to see what they like and what inspires them to feel and move their best!

Feeling so inspired💓💓💓

“Touch the horse to see what makes sense to the horse”

This is my favorite quote from the weekend with Manolo(@manolomendez.dressage) and Jillian (@jkinspiredllc). It speaks to being curious and in a reciprocal relationship with the horse where it's not about doing something to them but for them! You are asking them what they like best and what inspires them to move and feel their body in the most playful and beautiful way!

Give the horse a voice through touch!

❤️❤️❤️ “Touch the horse to see what makes sense to the horse”

I want to give a huge shout out to Casey M. Jones (@caseym.jones ) This amazing human is such a gift to the world for so many reasons. Here are a few of them.

She was instrumental in organizing the Manolo Mendez clinic this past weekend. She has the most amazing, huge beautiful heart that was so generously tending to all of us at the clinic. Even if you didn't get to interact with her directly, I guarantee she was looking out for you.

She's a phenomenal healer. So in tune with the horses. We witnessed the changes that she helped facilitate for one horse this weekend and they were absolutely spectacular. It made a massive difference for the horse in such a lovely way. If you're looking for an amazing osteopath and farrier for your ponies, look no further.

And she has the most playful uplifting spirit. There was a moment where I had the opportunity to speak in front of the whole group this weekend and she surrounded me with so much love and courage. It made it feel fun and playful and not terrifying. I am so very grateful.

Thank you Casey for being your magical fabulous self and being such a brilliant light in this world 💜🦋💜

Also aren't these two just the cutest💓🌈💓
