I am very excited and blessed to announce that I have decided to continue my athletic and academic career to play NCAA Dll softball at Stanislaus State! First, thank you God for guiding my path. Everything I have done, I have done in the name of God. Secondly, I would like to thank my family for supporting me throughout the process, through every opportunity I have received, and for every goal I have worked to achieve. Over the past 13 years of playing softball I have struggled mentally to find consistency for the love of the game, but now I can confidently say that continuing my athletic career at Stan State is where I am meant to be. Thank you to my Dad, who has come to all of my practices, recovery, games, tournaments, lessons, etc., because I would not be where I am today without you. You have pushed me to be better everyday and have supported me in every way. When I first brought up the thought of discontinuing my career, you told me whatever I choose has to feel right for me, no matter what anyone else thought. And here I am. Last but definitely not least, I would LOVE to thank all of the coaches that have worked with me over the past few years, granted me opportunities, and worked and pushed me to the potential they saw. Thank you Coach Aja, Coach Cardy, and Coach Avery for providing me with this amazing opportunity! Joining Coach Jose Espinoza and his organization was the best choice I could have ever made for myself. The environment, the facilities, the teammates, families, were second to none. All of the coaches under the CAS organization saw something in me, and that is something I will never forget. A special thank you to Jimmy Dyson who taught me everything I know when it comes to pitching. To Jenna, thank you for spoiling me and for all of the talks I ever had in you’re office, related to softball or not, you gave me confidence in myself that I struggled to have for so long.
