No rabbit food here! There was burgers, tacos, pies, cakes, ice cream, along with hearty soups, salads, deliciously prepared veggies. Thank you @Turnip Todd
There was also yoga, a sound bath, and Casino did a workshop on juicing. Look him up! He the Juice and Sea Moss Guy @casinothehero I think he has a free Ebook on juicing!!
I give the retreat a 10! I highly recommend for anyone looking to eat good, explore vegan food, get cooking ideas, or travel somewhere beautiful with beautiful people. The vibe was SPECIAL. Big Ups to @JadeJungleResort The staff was attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond for us.
Lastly, I met some AWESOME people. Connections I plan to maintain 💯🥰❤️ Happy Birthday to me.... and Tee!

Staying in the jungle at the largest soursop farm.

Finding your peace is important in these days. Anytime I need to heal, Belize is one of the number one places on my mind. After the retreat we hosted, we came to @tkofarmsbelize to reflect and show gratitude! This is one of the largest soursop farms on earth. 🌏

Most people don’t know, but you can stay in an Airbnb on the farm and enjoy fresh sour sop and fresh coconut water in the middle of a jungle!

Mad grateful 🥲

If I don’t grow it, I’m calling my local farmers market! 📞🌾

When them food recalls keep poppin’ off, we gotta get closer to the roots, y’all! 🌱✨

Here are 4 ways to tap in:

1️⃣ Hit up your local farmers market
Get to know the real ones growin’ your grub! Ask ‘em where was it grown? How was it grown? Build that community, fam!

2️⃣ Grow your own!
You don’t need a whole estate. A pot, a balcony, a windowsill, or a grow bag is the perfect vibe. Grow what you can, where you can!

3️⃣ Slide into a community garden
No space at the home? Find a community garden nearby! You can grow your own eats while kickin’ it and learnin’ from other plant lovers.

4️⃣ Keep an eye out for farm stands
Take a lil cruise through the country. You might spot farmers sellin’ that fresh-fresh right from their own farm. Straight from the source, and it might even save you some coin! 💸🚜

what’s some other ways that we can build a better relationship with our food and know where it’s coming from?
