Yesterday was a bittersweet one marking my last day with Pernod Ricard after 2.5 years, 20 months in India and 6 months working at Glenlivet as a tour guide.

It’s been an absolute privilege representing Glenlivet and the rest of our @chivasbrothersscotch brands from Dufftown- Delhi and I’ve met some friends for life from my wonderful colleagues on the @chivas_ambassadors programme and my friends in India !

I’m going to miss India, it’s a beautifully chaotic and sometimes overwhelming place but impossible not to fall in love with. The passion for our counties national spirit is infectious and can’t wait to see the impact the FTA will have in furthering this! I can only thank India and the wonderful kindness and hospitality I’ve had across the 19 cities and 16 states I’ve visited. Chief amongst this @jatinw17 and @cyril_gunner26 thank you for looking after me and making me feel so welcome in your wonderful country, I can’t wait to come and visit you lads on the many future visits back to my second home❤️

Special shoutout to all my fellow India BAs past and present and especially @barrelmandarragh and @highball_hamish highlight of my stint with Pernod has been meeting you both!

I’ll be staying within Scotch Whisky and can’t wait to tell you all about my next role with the most exciting distillery in Scotland very soon.

As a friend in Kolkata told me on my first work trip “ you’ll have the same problem as me when you leave, half your heart will be in Scotland and half will be in India” my Hindi is still tora tora but all that’s left to say is Shukriya India and Jai Hind 🇮🇳❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
