Meet Cassandra! How did you find Pilates? Funny enough, (and like any great love story), I HATED Pilates when I first started it. It was presented to me as a way “to grow” because I needed a couple of extra inches if I wanted to be a Rockette. Long story short, didn’t gain the inches, did gain a new movement love story in Pilates…eventually ❤️ How do you describe your teaching style? I love to flow from one thing to the next with a sense of play and curiosity. I believe YOU (the mover) and your body are actually our best teachers and it’s my job to simply facilitate and inform the exploration necessary to find and feel confident in your body and its movement practice. What is your favorite Pilates exercise? To teach? Planks (they feel like such a great full body moment and often leave people feeling really accomplished which is my favorite thing to see!) To do? Snake and Twist 😈 What type of music do you like to play in class? I need a good beat and a good story. That can come from so many different artists and genres, but that’s the common thread (I hope) in the playlists I create for class! 🤩Find @cassandra.cotta on our class schedule or reach out to book a private session!🤩 #pilates #pilatesinstructor #pilatesreformer #headstand

We started our instructor training program with the intention of filling in the gaps we noticed in some other programs. We want our students to feel confident, informed, empowered and excited to start their Pilates career. We are SO proud of all of the instructors we have trained so far and are honored to keep it going!❤️ We offer payment plans and scholarships to make our program as accessible as possible. We provide time and space for students to complete practice hours at our studio (cost included in tuition). All lectures are led by @jennisuss and @cassandra.cotta at our NYC studio! Want to join?? We would LOVE to have you! Reach out with any questions or head to our website to learn more! #pilates #pilatesinstructortraining #pilatesinstructor #nycpilates #hipmobility

Another year of Spencer, another 365 days of: Set-decking, producing, check-listing, karaoke-ing, party starting and party *ending*, MCing, speech-making, and dancing like nobody’s watching-ing. But most importantly, another 52 weeks of community building, artist gathering, and experience masterminding. 525,600 minutes of promoting the joys of networking, collaboration, and imagination animation. You bring magic to life every day for the creatives of our community and beyond. Always grateful to be watching it happen from behind the lens or on the big screen from seats within a movie theatre. I love you. Happy birthday, @monkeybusinessendeavors 💕🫶

Cassandra & Mark: The Reception Touching sentiments, gut-busting anecdotes, and words to live by were delivered by the maid of honor, best man, and mother of the bride (standing in for her father) before Mark surprised Cassandra with a video of her closest friends and family. An abundance of happy tears from the bride were shed before first dances began. Choreographed from start to finish, the newlyweds glided; leaping and twirling over the dance floor. Dazzlingly, authentically, “so totally THEM.” Cassandra and her father slowed down the pace before Mark and his mother picked it back up again. *Swipe all the way to the end to watch my SIL ask me “Are you okay?” while trying to photograph the father/daughter dance and me saying “LAUREN PLEASE DON’T ASK ME THAT RIGHT NOW” while wiping away tears because Johnny Cash was playing and so much had happened to get to that specific moment and the BRIDE looked absolutely RADIANT, OKAY???😭 Venue: @audreysfarmhouse Dress: @madewithlovebridal @lovelybridenyc Hair and makeup: @beautifybyceleste Bridesmaids: @birdygrey Tux and suits: @indochino Flowers: @poppyflowersco Coordinator: @danielles.events
