in 2022 othership’s first location opened directly next to my condo in toronto i was at a low point & stuck in a loop of “self care” but never really being honest about what i was going through i began going to othership and my nervous system began to transform but even more impactful was how the safety of the space allowed me to open up to a new friend, who really helped me get out of my situation and feel cared for. i began working on the calm rush formula that same year, and dreamed up a brand that would help people go beyond solo wellness routines and towards collective care rituals. so to bring this event to life, in the very space that shifted my entire perspective on what “care” really is, means the world to me. sure, calm rush is for when your skin is dry, irritated, stressed, and needs that extra care. but i also want you to grab a loved one, and reach for it when your state of mind needs some care too. because we truly are better together 💚 thank you to every single beautiful person who took time out of their busy busy schedules to connect, care and share with us last week in nyc 🥹 showing up to do something you’ve never done, in a room full of strangers, takes a special type of courage. the energy, smiles, and friendship in the room were unmatched. and i truly do not take for granted the immense privilege it is to be trusted to take care of you (and your skin!).
