The Modfather Christmas party heads to the 229 club on Saturday December 19th and we’re thrilled to announce that our good friend Steve Cradock and his lovely family will be joining us and playing their intimate Travellers tunes set. A critically acclaimed collection of songs from Steve’s prolific musical journey, from his ongoing career with Ocean Colour Scene and as a pivotal part of Paul Weller’s band, his time with The Specials, work with P.P. Arnold and solo endeavours. The Sha La La’s will be bringing their own brand of 60s influenced modern soul, which is guaranteed to get you dancing, while Camden favourites The Velvet Hands turn it up to 11 with their Punky Indie sound. The Beat featuring Ranking Jnr will top off a fantastic evening of live music and we’ve got a trio of top DJs to ensure there’s plenty of festive cheer. A gathering of good people and an opportunity for us to celebrate our 15th birthday in the very best company. A huge thank you to all of our customers for continuing to support our independent family run business 🙏 Early bird ticket link in the comments 🎵 @hnahj_ with the edit 📷
