Our love letter to you. 💌

Your support allows Pewabic, Michigan’s only National Historic Landmark Pottery and arts nonprofit organization, to enrich the human spirit through clay and continue the tradition of handcrafting in the city we’ve called home since 1903.

As Detroit’s pottery, we feel the current of creative energy so intrinsic to our community. It’s found in every piece of pottery and tile that leaves our doors to find a place in your hearts and homes. Our visitors, members, donors, followers, and general supporters are woven into every chapter of our story. With your support last year we were able to replace our largest production kiln, continue and expand our educational outreach programs, and build new bridges of connection. We’re dreaming big in 2026, and we value each person reading this post.

The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts @nceca takes place in Detroit from March 25 through March 28 and we couldn’t be more excited. Pewabic Pottery will be fully activated the week before and during the conference with docent-led, Pre-NCECA Tours on Monday, March 23 and Tuesday, March 24, and free self-guided tours after those dates, Wednesday through Saturday.

View the NCECA info page linked in our bio for more information on how to support and celebrate ceramic artistry at Pewabic, including exhibitions and lectures featuring friends of Pewabic and more. Thank you, as always, for supporting the arts and artist communities!

In 2025 I went back to school (aced every class 🤓), started at a new salon, spent time with friends old and new, had lots of family dinner/game nights, met a lovely guy, spent time in nature, and had a blast. Feeling very grateful and excited for what the next year holds 🧡
