To the powerful women in my life… thank you.
Thank you for showing up even when you don’t have to.
Thank you for giving when no one sees it.
Thank you for loving even when you’re tired and feel like you have nothing left.

I see you.
Your strength. Your softness. Your resilience.

And I will never stop believing in you.

One step at a time 🦶
💙 When my dad passed I learned that I was holding onto so much and it felt like my emotions were attacking me and pulling me into so many different places. So many thoughts started running through my head. Last moments, how many memories my kids got to have with him, if they will remember those memories, if I will remember those memories after a while I went to a place of numbness.

🌼 I realized this was a place I did not want to be. Although feeling that sadness and pain was rough I realized that those feeling are what showed me that are times together were real and we created them and they still live within me.
🌼TO LIVE IS TO FEEL! <~this has taught me so much.

🌬️That numb place felt safe but cowardly, like I was running from myself and life. It truly felt like i would loose the memory of my father if I didn’t allow myself to feel those emotions again. So I decided to search and that is where tools like breathwork, kambo, sharing with others, allowing myself to be vulnerable.

🙏 I have found some safe spaces to do that but also learned that I can create safe space and we can create spaces for people to heal and grow just by opening up the conversation and sharing. Let’s grow together. ❤️

💙 Love you Dad! Thank you for everything you taught me while you were here and all that you are teaching me since you have been gone. Looking forward to more lessons 🎣

🙏 Share this post if it could help someone you know.

“Talk more about your blessings than you do your problems” 👏🏻

Taking a deep breath... and letting it go.. giving my problems to god and working on what I have control over!

This photo all I use to see the past 6 months is the MOST VULNERABLE time of our lives, so much pain having to say goodbye.. and when I went to post it today I felt so much PEACE! 🤍

Peace in knowing how strong we have become, how close we have become, and the strength we have all developed!

Do I still miss my dad? ABSOLUTELY!
Do I still get sad? ABSOLUTELY
BUT am I okay?? YESS! But... ONLY because I am choosing to be okay!

I am choosing every single day to focus on all that I still have!! Everything I am grateful for because I have SOO much! 🥰

Cheers to 2021 🥂
