DANCERS, DID YOU KNOW A STRONG
UPPER BODY HELPS YOU STAND TALLER AND MAINTAIN POSTURE?
DAY 3 / 5:

✅️ 3 reasons your dancer should add
strength training to their routine:

1️⃣ Improved stability and control
Every turn, every balance, every hold —
strength is what makes them consistent.

2️⃣ Bigger, more powerful jumps
Height and power come from the muscles
behind the jump — not just the jump itself.

3️⃣ Less fatigue, more efficiency
A stronger body works smarter —
your dancer can go longer without
technique breaking down.

Our FIRST studio nationals event was one to NEVER FORGET!

We had so much to celebrate, so many milestones, so many graduates and all of the hard work over the last 5 years coming together in a single week! The dancers made their mark and left it all on the stage. So many fellow dancers, studio owners/teachers and families giving so many kind words and enthusiasm toward members of our studio on how our dancers were so versatile and exhilarating to watch. An end of an era at the studio creates NEW GOALS and we cannot wait to make these moves with all of our incredible families.

To our faculty and choreographers. Thank you for inspiring our dancers with fun, challenging and expressive choreography. We are so happy to know that we as a dance family brought your numbers and visions to life and did our absolute very best, leaving behind no regrets.

Well what a week. Nationals was an experience and an adventure. Definitely something these dancers won't soon forget. I'm so proud of how hard they all worked and brought something extra to the stage last week. Everything was stepped up. It was incredible to watch performance after performance killing it on the stage. Thank you to everyone who was involved. This was a special group this year.

Highlights include:
Personal best for You try to make me go.
Highest Tap
Highest hiphop
Highest Acro
Glam Hotline won the senior dance off.
Pink pony club becoming National Champions (highest group mark 13+).

Lesley we're planning a road trip to see the cup! That routine had a bit of magic. Thank you.

Ruby had an amazing experience at @terpsichorecanada Nationals and Top dancer competition this week.

It’s been unreal watching her growth in dance & confidence this year.

Thanks @conceptsdancestudioinc for giving her the opportunities and supporting her growth.

Ruby loved the classes, being part of the opening number and the highlight of the week - making a special guest appearance in Glam Hotline for the dance off.

Did you know strong glutes and hip flexors are the secret behind better splits and higher leg holds.

Most young dancers spend hours working on
flexibility, but rarely strengthen the muscles
responsible for lifting the leg in the first place.

Strong hip flexors make it easier to lift and
hold the leg up. When you strengthen the
opposite glute, your dancer stands taller with
less effort in a y-stand or scorpion.

More flexibility gets you into the position.
Strength is what holds you there.
