Play a part ~ Support local live theatre!!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Words cannot express how it feels to watch your heart SHINE on stage! 🫶🏻🥹✨ The many miles for almost 6 weeks (from Centre to Anniston & back again) and the long days that turned into late nights (tech/performance week was also Danceline camp week for her at GCHS 🫠😅) were all worth it for the new friends (for us both!) to bring this amazing show to life! She has definitely expanded her circle with CAST x CAPA, and I’m so proud of her heart, determination, & talent! 🎶 The live band really brought Hadestown to life more than I was prepared for, and those Fates tho! 🪭 I’m beyond proud of & amazed by the entire cast & crew, and truly grateful for ALL the family & friends who came to support!!! The train has left the station for the last time… what a ride! 🥀🖤🚂

We wrapped Shrek the Musical this weekend- and what a magical show it was! It’s always a joy working with this production team (the dream team) and our cast was incredibly talented. Grateful for the opportunity to create. If you’re reading this- go support local live theatre! 🎭

June was perfect.

We catered, we served, we dinner theater-ed, we tomato-ed.
We had a stellar wine tasting, worked with wedding vendor friends, gardened, gardened, gardened, brought back our beloved Summer Tomato Menu, made a ton of pickles, cooked, cooked, cooked, met new friends, and welcomed back regulars.

Thank you all for letting us serve you last month; it was a record-breaking June.
To our June Newlyweds, thank you, thank you for letting us serve dinner to you and your favorites during your wedding celebrations! And BIG Congratulations, y’all!

We can’t wait to see you all in July! The tomatoes are just right and the wine tasting is set for the 15th, so give us a call and come on!

Come see me take on the role of the Beast with @castalabama ! 👹🦬🥀 A classic tale with timeless lessons about what happens when we demonize each other and how connection can heal old wounds. I’ve really enjoyed getting close to this script so far

WE WON!
CAST Academy of Performing Arts won Best in Show at AYTE this weekend, and I couldn’t be more proud. I love being part of this amazing team, and I could not ask for a better partner than Judy Shealy. I love these kids, and I’m incredibly proud of the work they’ve put into this show. I’m still in shock, but please enjoy the multiple stages of Anna Beth fully grasping that we’ve won. (I also cried, but we’re not gonna show evidence of that stage)

The Addams Family- Young @ Part. Performances March 4-5 at 7 pm at the JSU McClellan Theatre before they take the show to compete at AYTE March 12. If you get the opportunity, you should really come see this show. These students are incredibly talented and so funny. And I choreographed it, so that, too.
