Thank you so much @mosaic_books for carrying my story as one of your local authors! Your support means so much to me and the autism community here in Kelowna! The more stories that are shared, the more acceptance will come in this world. I am so grateful to be part of the local authors🙏❤️ #autism #kelowna #globalnews @castanetmedia #supportlocal @bohobeachgirldesigns

I am not intimidated, democracy is built on courage. To anyone threatening or intimidating candidates in this election, let me make one thing clear: Democracy is not built on fear, but on freedom, respect, and the right to choose.

Every candidate has the right to participate, and every citizen has the right to choose freely and safely. We may support different candidates and hold different opinions, but we must never become enemies because of our differences.

Threats are not democracy. Intimidation is not leadership. Violence is never the answer.

We condemn all forms of political violence, harassment, and intimidation. No political ambition is worth putting another person’s safety at risk.

We can compete without hatred, disagree without disrespect, and choose our leaders without fear. Let our answer to intimidation be courage, solidarity, peace, and respect for the law.

Different voices. Different choices. One community. One democracy. One commitment to peace.#vernonlumby #bcpoli #democracy #courage #bcelection

@cityofkelowna @mayortomdyas @castanetmedia @iambradythecreator

This project at Burtch and Harvey was reported to be completed in 2 weeks from September 14th to 28th with “minimum disruption” to your nearby residents.

Please explain/justify how this much noise at midnight on a weeknight is considered “minimally disruptive”. I live several blocks away and was just woken up from sleep by this. I work from home all day and have not heard any of this kind of noise during the daylight hours!

Not to mention, the road stayed closed with absolutely 0 progress on the project for nearly 4 weeks. I love to see our taxpayer money being spent that way.

Thank you, Castanet! 💗
We are so grateful to Castanet for featuring Children’s Showcase Penticton in a recent article. Having our story shared with the community means so much to this small, volunteer-run nonprofit! You can read the article by searching Children’s Showcase on Castanet.net.

Castanet is also a proud sponsor of our 2026/27 season, helping us bring live arts to Penticton kids and families. We truly appreciate their support!

Missy D takes the Cleland Theatre stage on November 14. Tickets are $15 per show, or $25 for a two-show season pass, at ValleyFirstTix.com (link in bio).
