Thanks to @cat_hand, i’ve spent a delightful afternoon making chickens for art fodder. Each one gets better and it’s so addicting. And so much fun. This was part of her mixed media morsels for February. I’m behind.

I love doing monthly art pages with @cat_hand! She uses items you already have in your home, with a tutorial each month to follow along with. But you get freedom in creating, as her tutorial is a guide.

Or you can do it exactly like she does it. I’ve done that on some months when I haven’t been feeling as creative. It was still just as fun. 😊

I am starting 2026 very very late because of the move and everything. But now my life is in order and I can start doing my cat hand projects again. 🙌

This year is called Homespun, and the art projects use fabric. How exciting is that??! (Very exciting for me, as you can tell.) 😂 At the end of the year you have an art journal, a page for each month of that year.

be sure to check her out on IG, YouTube, and a Facebook group where we share our creations each month. It’s fun to go see what other people come up with for their page. And if I haven’t done my paycheck, it’s more inspiration.

I will probably post things as I create them. 😁
