"People and pets go together like PB & J! So in my mind, if you want to help animals, you’ve simply got to be people-friendly too," says Heather Miller, Development & Communications Director, Cat Adoption Team. "When more people can access animal welfare services in a way that both supports them and shows them they matter, our interactions become a more positive experience for everyone involved, including the animals!"

Heather will bring her expertise to a live discussion, Accessibility in Animal Welfare: Increase Lifesaving with Access for All, on Thursday, August 22, at 5pm ET. Meet our other panelists and register at the link in our bio.

We have two babes that still need homes. Vesper (gray tabby) and Ashby (solid gray) can be adopted separately or together, but definitely need a buddy in their home for playing and snuggling. Vesper is high energy and Ashby needs a lot of attention. They are both very sweet and have great purr-motors. DM us or email frandrea.fosters@gmail.com to set up a time to meet these girls this weekend! #lolitaslittles #ashby #vesper #instagramkittens #availableforadoption #fosterkittens #bluebathroom #frandreafosters #adoptdontshop #cutekittens #sisters #graybabies #catadoptpdx #catadoptionteam

Ashby and Vesper (and mama) are still looking for homes before their spay days! Ashby is a sweet girl who loves attention. Vesper is pure energy and would definitely benefit from having another active playmate in her new home. Let us know if you’re interested in meeting these girls! #ashby #vesper #lolitaslittles #instagramkittens #fosterkittens #availableforadoption #sisters #graygirlgang #frandreafosters #bluebathroom #adoptdontshop #catadoptpdx #catadoptionteam

Good afternoon from Willow (K6)! This healthy little girl is chill and playful, likes sitting on feet, and wants to grow up to be a lap cat. She’s basically perfect. #fosterkitten #willowkitten #lolitaslittles #graytuxedokitten #perfectkitten #bluebathroom #frandreafosters #adoptdontshop #whitesocks #pinkmouf #catadoptpdx #catadoptionteam

Mama hates us, but we haven’t given up yet. She loves churus and will lick them off our hands, so at least there’s that. And she’s good about us handling her babies. #mamalolita #socializationcat #fostercat #graytabby #bluebathroom #frandreafosters #adoptdontshop #catadoptpdx #catadoptionteam

Good evening from bb Vesper (K4). She’s the tiniest of the litter, but gained weight overnight and is doing great with her supplemental formula. She’s got lots of ideas about things and is a fun little kitten already. #fosterkitten #vesperkitten #graytabby #tinykitten #cutekitten #bluebathroom #frandreafosters #snugglesafe #🐾 #spayandneuter #adoptdontshop #catadoptpdx #catadoptionteam

My foster brother, Fred, had to go to the vet today and needs a 🛁 to get the stink off. Fortunately, his sister, Velma, is here to help.
