Dearest LGBTQIA+ community of Mt Holly and beyond:

Thank you SO MUCH for your incredible generosity this year, for showing up and supporting local artists, local businesses, local nonprofits, and your local drag queens, kings, and things!

Through a combination of donations, merch sales, and drag show ticket sales, we were able to put on our annual event and still donate over $1,500 to our friends @pflaggaston!!! This is exactly what this is about. Supporting our community and the people who support us right back.

Thank you again a million times and keep an eye out for future events, hangouts, community opportunities, etc. So grateful and so proud of us all.

-Michelle

PS- I ran out of tags, I wish I could tag everyone involved!!

Today we’re highlighting our silver level sponsor @catalystmerc! Always one of the first to say yes when we start talking Pride planning, we’re so happy to have them join us again this year.

From Kendle and Lauren: “At Catalyst, we believe there is room for everyone. We love being a space in the community where people feel welcome and celebrated. Our artisan community is an incredible group of insanely talented women (and man!) that are making their dreams happen. We take pride in offering size inclusive clothing in fun styles to help everyone look and feel their best. We can’t wait to see you on Sept 26!”

Expect their famous End of Summer sidewalk sale and other discounts as well as @charlottefairyhair to get you feeling fabulous. 💅

I wouldn’t say today’s handstands were good, but here is a goodish one, pulled from a line of falling videos.

It was a beautiful day at P.A.C.E. In Mount Holly! Hats on the Street was so fun and look at these incredible creations 😍 I can’t wait to do it again NEXT YEAR.

Thank you to everyone who participated BOTH dates. I wish we could have all gathered, but I’m glad that we got the best of both Saturdays. Huge thank you to @catalystmerc who helped pull this moment of whimsy off TWICE and for being the kind of business that partners with artists and helps make the dreams of other small businesses come true.

Do we need a Hats on the Street account? Will you be making a hat next year?! I HOPE SO! @mounthollyparksandrec @mountholly_nc
