Some nice, light S. African throws 31 - 32m. Trying to hold the block and get a cleaner release. Great first day back.

I’m coming to THE WHEE! 💜💜💜

I am unbelievably grateful and excited to announce my commitment to continue my D1 athletic and academic future at Western Carolina University.

I try to thank God every day for all the things He has done for me, and I am giving Him extra thanks today. For without Him, this would not be possible. He is the one who made me fast.

I would also like to thank Coach Jesse for staying with me throughout the whole recruitment process, and the other coaches who led me to where I am. Coach Kowalski, Coach Nees, Coach Heinlen, and more.

I need to thank my parents as well. No one has bigger supporters. The endless hours spent driving to visit schools and go to meets, flying across the country with me and doing it with a smile on their face. My mom, supporting me no matter what and being the first and loudest to cheer me on. My dad, for being my coach since I was a little girl and helping me college search more than anyone.

And of course, all my friends who supported me, and wanted this more for me than anyone. Every single person that has been on the track team before has made me feel so loved and appreciated throughout the years, and I can’t be more grateful for that.

Without further ado, I am just so excited to spend my next 4 years at Western.

GO CATAMOUNTS!! 💜💜💜#ᴀɢᴛɢ #committed
