💛 Perfect Besan Barfi ka secret? Chashni ki consistency!

This bread is way more intimidating than it looks ☺️ Sharing what I learned in case you try it too!

The dough was soooo sticky at first and the first stretch + fold was so messy, but by the last cover/rest, the coil folds really helped it come together so quickly. I had to use a lot of water on my hands for this part.

Also this recipe makes a lotttt. I got around 10-12 loaves in different sizes. Making them smaller was definitely easier for me than trying to do longer shapes because moving them to the tray was the hardest part lol.

My shapes were a little all over the place because by the tray part I was kind of giving up 😭 I recommend wetting ur bench scraper and using lots of flour to move the dough!

I didn’t get much crust on the bottom because I did take too long transferring them onto the hot tray, so next time I’d try to move a lot quicker.

Buttt the taste was so good and it baked pretty well for a first try?? So I’m happy 🥹

If you’ve made ciabatta before, lmk what u think and please tell me your best tips!
