A meaningful milestone for our future nurses! 💙🩺

Congratulations to the Catawba nursing students recognized during Monday’s Pinning Ceremony as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their journey. #CatawbaCollege A group of nursing students stands together in front of a red, white, and blue balloon display. Each student wears a blue ribbon with a medal around their neck and holds a small, white ceremonial lamp. The group is dressed in various semi-formal outfits, including white, black, and floral patterned dresses.

Catawba College Nursing

I have had the joy of getting to photograph @catawbanursing for the past 3 years. As I prepare for graduation I find myself going back through old photos. While these don’t scratch the surface of what I have taken they are some of my favorites.

Thank you to the nursing faculty and my classmates for letting me photograph you all. What a joy it has been.

Anna Kate, President of SNA and Legislative Director for NCANS attended Nurses Night at the Legislation in Raleigh on May 21st where she had the opportunity to talk to representatives and nurses about legislative change that is being presented. The overwhelming majority of nurses were there to promote the SAVE Act. This is a bill to grant full-practice authority for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. Anna Kate says it was interesting to hear the testimonials of how this could positively impact not only nurses but the communities they serve.
