A little glimpse into how we’re spending our summer in Puerto Rico 🥰🇵🇷

To be honest, the first half was tough (water outage on the island, it was a whole thing) so even though we’re halfway through our time here, the “normalcy” is just beginning.

This is a work exchange, so we’re not being paid for our time here, but I’m enjoying the sweet little routines we’ve made for ourselves nonetheless 🥰

Let’s chat while I work the front desk at this inn in Puerto Rico for the summer. 🌴☀️

In college, I always got frustrated that the main voices we heard represented the top 2%. While that doesn’t diminish their accomplishments 👏, it did rob us of the opportunity to hear practical advice from the “normal” people in our industry.

In content creation, it’s the same. 📱 There are incredible creators out there with valuable insight, but you haven’t heard from them because the algorithm is only pushing the top 2% of creators in your niche.

What’s my point? Nothing specific, really. 💛 Just some encouragement not to get discouraged if you feel stuck, or like the “tricks” that have been marketed to you as “the secret to growth” are coming up empty.

Chasing success is a never-ending treadmill to burnout. 😅 Stay grounded, keep creating, and keep going. Your time will come. 🫶✨

We just completed the Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu in Peru with @trexperience — a full-on journey through glaciers, jungles, and everything in between.

From standing in front of the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake to crossing the massive
Salkantay Pass (15,000+ ft ) to ending at the iconic Machu Picchu... every single day felt like a different world and left us beaming with joy and gratitude. #ugc #travelUGC #peru
