The Haus of Howard fashion show last night was truly amazing! I am so proud of you nephew! You looked beautiful! Then we went to Grits and Gravy but missed most of our people cause we are old and apparently most people had left by the time we arrived after the fashion show! However, we still danced our asses off and had the best time! We then came home and pigged out! It was like Republic Gardens back in 2000! Amber even asked if I wanted someone to get me a Coke with ice (If you know, you know) 😆🤦🏽‍♀️And she and I FaceTimed with Maiya while waiting on our uber! So, far I think my favourite thing is actually staying in this house with these 7 ladies and just catching up or getting our nails done or eating together (I cooked us curry for dinner). Spending time with the people you love to me is the best part of homecoming! And I get to see my Stacey and Regina today!! And it is our Law School meet and greet and Sneaker Ball 💙❤️ Hopefully I will see some of y’all on the yard today!

Hi there,
My name is Priya and I am one of your homecoming Ambassador! I guess out of the ten of us alumni I am the old head as this is my 25th Law school reunion year! I actually hosted our 20th on zoom because it was during Covid! So, this is the first time we will all be together in decades! I wanted to introduce you to a few of my friends who will be going on this journey with me! I truthfully haven’t been to homecoming in forever and I love taking photos of other people, just not of myself ! So, I am slowly stepping out of my comfort zone (sorry Christina I know this post is late)! Anyway, I am looking forward to seeing, meeting and hanging out with my bison family and hope you all travel safely back to the Mecca! My girlfriends Elaine, Dina, Amber, Lori, and myself all went to Law School together and crossed ESI together. We are staying in an air bnb with Gladys (Ambers bestie and Dina’s from FAMU where our daughter’s are in College). Catherine, Timika and Michelle will also be there as they are part of their NY Crew (most of them moved there after law school). Stacey is my best friend from my MSW at Howard and mother to my beautiful goddaughter. Regina is Howard’s finest and truthfully I have no idea how we met but we have been friends over 20 years! Lastly, is my handsome Godson Lacy and clearly I need to take a photo with my field mom Felecia as I can’t find one! My first event tonight with hopefully my Godson and Field mother (from my MSW, they mentor you) is the Lavendar réception! Happy homecoming ❤️💙 Also, shout out to my baby bison @heaven.epps who is a Student Ambassador this homecoming!

Sometimes the best way to remind yourself of all of your blessings is to cover yourself in love with your soul sisters. Although this is only a few of my dearest sister friends, I feel so blessed to have them all in life.

Who are your “Soul Sisters” ? Tag them in this to tell them how blessed you are to have them in your life❤️
