I went to Venezuela as a US taxpayer to see where the funds we are sending to reconstruct the place after the earthquakes are going. Here’s some of what I saw. There’s more here on my page, too. This was quite an eye-opening experience in many ways. The standard of living the average Venezuelans are used to would make this home an incredible luxury. That is what years of socialism has done. Hopefully, with the pressure of President Trump, things will change in that regard.

As an interested US taxpayer, I took a trip to Venezuela to see what is actually happening with the foreign aid we’re sending over there. There is a very very very long way to go for the people of that country, but there is some stuff that seems to be getting done after the earthquake. I saw this church and the neighboring communities being reconstructed. There’s a long way to go with that too, but it was nice to see our money going to something actually useful rather than left-wing NGOs like under Biden.
