I've graduated from @bcuillustration! Congrats to all of my peers who have also graduated - I'm so glad to have met you all!
It's been a good few years, and I've learnt a lot, both from friendships and from classes. I am a little sad it's over, as I feel like everyone opened up with each other over the last few weeks during our Grad Show and those who went to New Designers.
I didn't take as many photos as I would have liked for the day, but looking back on the last few years and everything was worth it to get here.

I AM BACK! IT'S BEEN A YEAR SINCE MY LAST POST ON THIS ACCOUNT! 🤡
HI, if you don't know me, I am Cat! A freelance illustrator and associate lecturer based in the UK who previously studied hair and media makeup 💅

A lot has changed since my last post, and I would say there have been many positive changes. I believe I am finally in a place where I can post on social media more often! 🌟
Social media became a daunting task for me when my health declined, and yes, I continue to experience chronic pain, but I am learning to live with it and manage it. I don't want it to stop me from enjoying my life! 🩷

Whenever you follow me for a while or if you are new to me, I HOPE YOU stick around! 🎀

After my Degree show with @bcuillustration, I got the incredible opportunity to exhibit at @newdesigners !
Whilst I'm leaving today, New Designers is still going on until tomorrow - so if you can pop down I strongly recommend it.

I was very nervous about the trip as it was my first time ever in London, but thanks to everyone tagged (especially @catcoalart for the encouragement and @mavis_illustrations for travelling with me) I had such a great time!

After a bit of rest and down time, I'm so excited to get back to making art again, as I've really missed it and I have been very much inspired by my trip. Getting to see so many wonderful artists has really helped me settle on some sense of direction.

We had a fantastic time at Duplicate on Sunday! We were able to talk to so many people and it was a wonderful learning experience. We’ll definitely be doing more markets in the future, but we may bring fewer people at a time (since there are quite a lot of us) or reduce how much work each person brings to sell. We were really lucky to get a full table.

Thank you @duplicatepublishingfair so much for having us — we’ll definitely be applying for a table again next year!

Sometime life sucks, so you draw your friends as a Blueberry Frog, a Magical Girl Rabbit, a Terricotta Horse and a Sassy Goth Cat!
