Meet our cast 🥚✨😜

We’re beyond thrilled to welcome Caitlin Burdi to The Egg and Me! 🎬✨

Caitlin Burdi is an American actress, writer, comedian, and producer with credits that span film, TV, and live comedy—known for A Bump in the Night with Charlie and Lily (2023), Zombiechrist (2010), and Moonlight (2010). She’s also appeared in or worked on The Big C, Gossip Girl, and The Beautiful Life, bringing her sharp comedic energy to every project she touches.

Caitlin is a member of SAG-AFTRA and trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NY). She currently attends The Groundlings Theatre in the Advanced Writers Lab, and she’s actively creating comedic content and co-creating work featured on platforms like Caitlin Burdi on Instagram, where she’s Gigi in The Galbonos, as well as various characters on The Charlie and Lily Show (@thecharlieandlilyshow).

And in The Egg and Me, Caitlin steps into the role of Hot Babe—a hot mess in the best way—bringing all the comedy chaos, the big reactions, and the nonstop laughs that make this character truly pop. She shines with that effortless comedic talent we love, and we’re seriously excited to have her on board. 💛✨

We feel incredibly fortunate to have Caitlin in our movie, and we can’t wait for everyone to see what she brings to life on screen.

Here are some more behind-the-scenes photographs of our journey—of creativity, and the making of The Egg and Me—including the moments it takes to keep going when things feel impossible. 📸🎬

Creativity needs play—not perfection. 🎭✨ and we most certainly PLAYED with our cast as it was impeccable!!

John Cleese once said: “You can’t play if you’re being careful.” Because when you’re afraid of mistakes, new ideas never get the chance to become something real. 💡

That’s why I’m obsessed with this quote. It reminds me that the magic is in the discovery—the “what if?” stage. The part where you don’t know the outcome yet, but you keep going anyway. 📹🌈
Whether you’re lifting a camera or just using your iPhone, start, explore, follow through. ✅➡️

And on a deeper level… this story is personal. 🤍
IVF was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, and I wanted to share my experience with other women who might be in it right now. Not everyone gets the fairy-tale ending—but that doesn’t mean the journey isn’t powerful. 🌿💪

Because there are always people who will tell you:
“You can’t get pregnant.”
“You can’t make a movie.”
“You can’t do it for that budget.”
“You can’t… you can’t… you can’t.”
But you can most certainly try. ❤️‍🔥✨

This is for the women still hoping. Still trying. Still believing.
Never give up. 🫶✨
