🐾 Farewell to My Girl 🐾

Thirteen years wasn’t enough, but every single day with my beautiful girl was a gift. My sweet, stubborn, and utterly sassy Piper has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and the silence she left behind is deafening.

If you knew her, you knew she lived by her own rules and that her favorite place in the entire world was glued right to her mama’s side. She was my shadow, my confidante, and the most fiercely loving companion a girl could ever ask for.

We sent her off in style, of course. For her final birthday, her sister gave her the ultimate gift: a chance to taste a squirrel she’d finally caught. It was chaos, it was absurd, and it was perfectly her.

My heart is shattered, but I find comfort knowing she is now running free, pain-free, and probably bossing around all the other dogs on the other side. Thank you for being the best girl, for teaching me unconditional love, and for letting me be your human.

Run easy, sweet girl. Mama loves you more than words. Until we meet again across that bright bridge. ❤️🌈
