Worked my ass off for this one, and I’m really happy with this PR. Two months of consistently showing up, even when it hurt made all the hard work worth it.

And because one race apparently wasn’t enough, somehow got convinced to sign up for Mixed Doubles two days before with no prep. Running back to back races was definitely optimistic but it was one hell of an effort on completely dead legs.

Huge shoutout to all my friends for cheering me on. I couldn’t ask for a better support system. 🤍

Birthday diary 6/20-21 🤍 PUSO & surprise bday party

Every year, my birthday looks a little different. I don’t usually like celebrating it, but this year felt incredibly special.

Words can’t fully express how seen, loved, and appreciated I feel. Life hasn’t been the same since they came into my life, and I’ll always be grateful for them.

Everyday, I learn a little more about love. A bit of that looks like this:

Being celebrated, having people show up, and including my parents (because it’s their first time living too) is something I’ve always dreamed of.

To endless surprises, laughters, homemade cheesecake, handmade poster, intentional gifts, long drives, spontaneous adventures, love through food, to having a community and great health… to everyone that pushed me to be better every day and keep life and run exciting, I - love - you 🫶🏼

Oh yeah, I’ve made it past my quarter-life crisis, picked up running and it’s staying. What’s next ? 🤭

— can you believe they all wore yellow and I didn’t own any yellow in my closet but thanks to PUSO, I magically / coincidentally got a yellow top 😆

Can’t even describe to you the kind of high we’re all coming down from being at @cucb this weekend.

To the Runners: CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU 🥳 Wether it’s your first, or one of many races this year, I know i’m speaking for the entirety of @bricksrunclub when I say that we’re all so proud of you for chasing an accomplishment that isn’t so easy to achieve ❤️🪽

To the Spectators: THANK YOU for cheering, screaming, helping, and motivating the runners. Don’t underestimate the power of what your voice can do for your family, friends, and strangers out there. You may not have been there for a medal, but you sure made that medal for someone else that much more special 🪽🌸
