Being back in normal life for a week has made me realize the escapism that this project allowed in its all encompassing nature.

Still feels surreal that after nearly a year of work we are done with Universal Kids Resort. The hard part of these big projects is how all encompassing they are and then the void they leave when you’re done. Looking forward to trying to take some time off to recuperate and apparently detach from the news and internet as a survival tactic.

DANG IT DOODILY, YA’LL!
I never thought ”Open A Theme Park” would ever be on my bingo card but what a privilege to say the least!

From the recording studio to opening day, It has been an incredibly wild ride bringing this show off the page and to life. I have learned so much about the industry as well as myself and I’ll forever cherish the memories that were made with some of the most talented people. I can’t say enough about how brilliant the cast is. It was a pleasure to watch them grow and develop such a beautiful show. I’m so proud of everybody on this project and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anyone else. Thank you, @88twentygroup for trusting me and giving me on this amazing opportunity.

If you are in the Dallas area, please take a drive out to Frisco and check out the new @universalkidsresort . But most importantly, go see Trollstastic Concert Countdown!!!

We did it! Thanks Poppy, Perrito, and Tango for dancing, playing, and growing up with us. I truly don’t know how we got blessed with this being our real life jobs. It was far from easy but might be the most rewarding thing we’ve done at @88twentygroup so far. The entertainment in this parks has our handprints all over it and there are countless laughs and cheers from audiences already that we can say “we did that” which is a fully surreal and humbling thing.

Thank you to our whole team, Universal, and all the other vendors and passionate creators and performers who contributed to this completely new offshoot of theme parks.

See you later, Cooper! Peace out!✌️

An inspiring week reviewing websites of other creatives to collaborate on the current project. I love seeing so much incredible art through different lenses…it is why I love this business! I am always learning, admiring and meeting incredible new artists. #director #choreographer #writer #artist

My three principal female actors killing the script at the recording session. Belly laughing the entire time and holding back tears when your words fly off the page in such a way you never imagined! This immersive project is completely alive and we install in three weeks!!! Yeehaw! #creativedirector #choreographer #writer #immersive #animation

Happy Halloweek!!! As a director this spooky season, I got to work with Havoc at SeaWorld Orlando Howl-O-Scream and talk about the horror of his character. The thing I love is this is truly one of the nicest guys ever who just wanted to create memories. Teddy owned this guy and it was so wonderful to see a character completely realized. You are HAVOC Teddy!! #director #choreographer #halloween #passion #horror
