2nd and last trip in Arkansas! Couldn’t have asked for a better friend group to be apart of for this trip! Always feels like I’m frozen in time here. Thank you Arkansas for all the laughs and friendships! Lowk missed Zeke on this trip though fr.

In 2021, @giffco invited me one Wednesday to a church group. After going through Covid and having my freshman year of college end early, I was craving new experiences and new people. Through my kinesiology program, Wednesdays quickly became my favorite night of the week; not only had I found fellowship and friendship but I found a group of larger than life people people who love all, welcome anyone, and love Jesus. While I’m not the most outwardly religious person, I do love Jesus and I’m grateful for the sacrifice of his life and God’s selflessness to send his son to die for ME, an imperfect sinner. Crazy to think a man died for me, to live this life, knowing I’d be the menace I am. What a love.
Fast forward to graduating college in 2022, staying in Ruston, working, trying to understand why I was feeling so lost in my 20’s, and navigating changes, one thing stayed constant; Wednesday night Canterbury. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly, every Wednesday I was welcomed with open arms and a “Hellloooo sweetie” from @sscarwile. As I graduated nursing school, finally found my passion in life, and finally feel like I’ve gotten this life thing right, it was only fitting that the grand finale of my Canterbury journey consist of a final church service with this crew in Canterbury, England on a beautiful summer Sunday. The love I have for this group, the acceptance I feel, and the memories I’ve made will live in my heart forever. Thank you Jesus for your plan, those you place in our path, and for Canterbury at Louisiana Tech University. If you’re looking for love, fellowship, and a community of the coolest humans, let me know. I’d love to be a guest star again one Wednesday night and show you what you’re missing and never even knew you needed. THANK YOU GOD!
