It has literally felt impossible to choose what to post here and what to even say. As I’ve been scrolling through my albums I can’t help but cry the happiest tears as memories over the past 5 years flood my mind.

I don’t think I could personally dream up a more fulfilling show and I will never take that for granted. It is not lost on me how special this is and has always been. I’ve never been more proud to share a stage with the most talented unicorns in the biz. Every single department kept this beautiful beast afloat. We are forever family. Congratulations to EVERY single human that has touched @moulinrougebway . We. Did. That. 👏🏼

This really is what dreams are made of ❤️ Forever grateful 🥹

It’s impossible to put into words the many ways that Moulin Rouge has changed my life.

The incredible artists and technicians I’ve gotten to collaborate with over the past nine years, the many cities and countries it has taken me to, the lifelong friendships it has built, and the deep and unique way its story and themes have connected to audiences, regardless of language and location.

When I reflect that I began this journey with @carmen.pavlovic @billdamaschke @bazluhrmann & @catherinemartindesigns back in 2013, it means I’ve spent more than a quarter of my life working on Moulin Rouge Broadway... Over so much time, one’s interests, curiosities, and beliefs can change dramatically but, watching the show last night onstage at the Hirschfeld for the second to last time, Moulin Rouge still feels as authentic and personal to me as when we began.

During the pandemic, I lived on 46th Street and my apartment looked out at the Hirschfeld. I would glimpse the marquee at some point each day for that year and a half and wonder if the show would ever come back.

Moulin Rouge has had so much life.

And it has given me life. And I’m grateful to all the artists, technicians, producers, managers, and audiences it has connected me to, who have created memories that will remain with me forever.
