My world fell apart as an 18 yo girl, but keep reading to see how I built my life back up from scratch. 🥺 In 2018, I was meant to finish Sixth Form but became homeless by both parents at just 18. I was so f***ing scared. No money. No belongings. Nowhere to live. Quickly lost all my friends including best friends of 7+ years. My school tried convincing me to stay in the homeless shelter they put me in. But I left the next day after spending the night petrified for my own safety and life, surrounded by ex convicts and drug addicts. I ended up moving hundreds of miles to a brand new area knowing nobody. After a couple months, I had saved over a £1000. Was really proud as I’d earnt this, and it was the first step to properly supporting myself. What propelled me was my passion for academics. I already had a strong academic record (4 A*s & 5 As GCSE, A & B in AS Latin & Mathematics). So I decided to be ambitious as f**k and told myself that I was going to study Classics at Cambridge. One day I was invited to an interview at a school where I sold my talents to the headteacher. Was offered a 100% Scholarship to study for 2 years A levels of my choice giving me a shot at Cambridge. Fast forward 1.5 years later, in 2020, I was offered a place at the University of Cambridge. I was absolutely ecstatic, and what made me most proud was that I did it all without parental support. I felt superhuman. It showed me that I could make the impossible possible. By 2022, I had fully immersed myself into entrepreneurship. Before finishing uni, I had already made my first money from property investments (£1,500). This opened up a new sense of hope for my future. In 2023, I graduated with a Second-Class Honours. As of today, I’m now living a life that I love and am forever grateful expressing my gratitude for the entire journey and what is to come, while running a 6 figure business. If you’re a girlie who’s ambitious af yet going through something not nice, pop me a message - I hear you 🎀 • • • • • #successstory #inspirewomen #selfmadewoman #believeinyourselfalways #femaleempowerment #findingstrength #mindsetofgreatness #mystory #selfbelief
