Some tables are set. This one was rooted in community. Inspired by the farmers market that happens at Mill City Museum each week, we brought our own take to the D’Amico Hospitality Family Dinner—an evening centered on gathering, creativity and the people who make our industry what it is. At the center, an entirely edible centerpiece became the evening’s first course, setting the stage for dinner, conversation and a room full of industry friends. A nod to the venue, a celebration of our community, and a night designed to be shared. Because hospitality has always been about more than what’s on the plate. It’s about who’s gathered around it. A seat at the table, a hand-picked harvest, and a room full of people who make this industry what it is. A few frames from the D’Amico Hospitality Family Dinner at @millcitymuseumevents—an evening designed to slow down, gather our industry friends, and celebrate the creativity, care and community behind the work. From edible centerpieces and market-style moments to an al fresco dinner beneath a beautiful summer sky, every detail was an invitation to pause and enjoy the season. Grateful to @rocketscience.events for helping us bring it all to life, and to everyone who pulled up a chair. 🌻 Venue: @millcitymuseumevents Menu + Hospitality: @damicohospitality Chefs: @geoff.stout, @pastryleah, @blynk2013, @dtjb00, @maxymo, @amberarcuri, Operations: @stabems, @cathybovard Concept, Event Design & Planning: @rocketscience.events, @msaltendorf, @madisonvolkmann Floral & Edible Centerpieces: @kindred.blooms Paper Goods: @fig2design Silverware: @smthingvintage Installations: @prettycreative.events Rentals: @collectedrentals, @apreseventandtent Lighting: @phosevents PR & Communications: @roepkepr Video: @voyageurmotionpictures Photography: @laurenbakerphoto Music: @laurahugomusic Valet: @uptownvaletinc

A farmer’s market, reimagined for the dinner table. 🥬🫜🍅🥕 For the D’Amico Hospitality Family Dinner at @millcitymuseumevents, we brought the spirit of farm-to-table dining to life by creating our own little marketplace in the heart of this iconic, history-steeped venue. There were the Lettuce Ladies, pickle-making with Pete, a lemonade stand that was anything but basic, tomato-inspired cocktails, and desserts that looked straight from the garden. Even the centerpieces were part of the harvest, filled with fresh produce, potted herbs and edible flowers that blurred the line between table setting and farmer’s market. Guests picked their lettuce, made their own quick pickles, and settled in for an al fresco dinner surrounded by the colors, textures and flavors of the season. In a season that can often feel hectic for event professionals, we were honored to gather our industry friends to take pause, root themselves in community and remember how important this work truly is. An extra special thank you to @rocketscience.events for her care in helping bring this vision to life. 5K this morning with @cathybovard as part of the Twin Cities Marathon. Complete ✔️ Amid the whirlwind of event season, today’s highlight was running with a friend. 💛 She said it best “It’s not about the time, it’s about the finish”. I may not have kept her pace (she’s a quick one!), but she was absolutely right. Fresh air, friendship, and music were the win. 🎶 And of course, the soundtrack was Taylor’s new album The Life of a Showgirl — the perfect anthem for today’s little victory. @twincitiesinmotion #twincitiesmarathon #whyisithotinoctober #thelifeofashowgirl

Last night, Nicollet Mall came alive as it transformed into an exquisite communal table for 2,000 food lovers with @dinnerdunord, bringing the Minneapolis community together in a celebration of culinary excellence. Guests experienced a meticulously curated three-course @damicorestaurants meal, starting with a pear salad paired with Vigneti del Sole Pinot Grigio. The evening also featured a delightful surprise amuse-bouche: refreshing tomato water with a vegetable skewer drizzled in dill oil. For the main course, diners chose between exquisite options: braised short rib from @campielloep and the elegant vegetable pave from D’Amico Cucina for our vegetarian guests, both accompanied by di Majo Norante Cabernet Sauvignon Terre deli OPsci IGT. To conclude the evening, attendees enjoyed a decadent @damicoandsons chocolate mascarpone torte paired with Amaro Montenegro. As a memorable takeaway, guests received an edible pressed flower shortbread cookie, a sweet reminder of the night. A special thank you to everyone who joined us for this remarkable culinary celebration. Toasting to the @minnesotabride Best of 2025! 🥂 We are honored to receive the award for Best Caterer for a Large Wedding! A huge shoutout to our exclusive venue partners @machineshopmpls for winning Best Historic Venue, and @bavaria_downs for being recognized as Best Mansion Venue / Best Minnesota Venue. As catering sponsor, we delighted guests with our signature burrata bar, where they crafted plates with fresh, creamy split burrata over arugula, complemented by a variety of toppings. “Girl Dinner” was the vibe! Think Chef Blake’s Fried Pickle Dip with crispy pita, whipped hummus with cucumbers, orange marinated olives, and petite pickles. We dished out deviled quail eggs with caviar, garden toast topped with goat cheese and summer veggies, and Parmesan truffle popcorn. And of course, the essentials: individual Caesar salads, classic chicken tenders with ranch and truffle aioli, plus a stunning three-tier butter cake alongside mini croissants, assorted breads, and half-dipped brownies. Guests also enjoyed summer fresh passed hors d’oeuvres, while VIPs savored assorted picnic trays table-side. Thank you to our exceptional team for their hard work and to the amazing events community who made this celebration unforgettable! D’Amico Hospitality: Chefs @geoff.stout, @pastryleah & @blynk2013.
