POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last Saturday was a great day in Manchester for @ntc_manchester Graduation. I learnt so much about myself and have felt a clear encouragement for what lies ahead now my studies are completed. It was so great to be there celebrating with all family and my friends who I studied with. Loved having Rosie over to celebrate with me and meet everyone. I am excited for what doors open out ahead but now wedding planning is the main focus for the meantime.

They say things come in 3s, and this weekend at the British Isles North District Assembly at Megain Nazarene they certainly did:

1. On Saturday I had the HONOUR of being elected as the District Nazarene Missions International (NMI) President in the British Isles North District. I recognise the enormous responsibility and trust that has been placed in me to fulfil this role, and with God’s help I will do my upmost to follow this call that God has placed on my life for such a time as this.
I succeed the wonderful Cathy Tarrant after 30 years of faithful and passionate service. Cathy only has size 5 feet, but I most certainly have HUGE shoes to fill! (I was 1.5 years old when Cathy was elected back in 1995, please pray that my successor is already much older than that 😂❤️)

2. On Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, I had the privilege of leading worship with my very talented and great friends Benjamin and Andrew. There is great joy in leading God’s people in worship, joining in the chorus of Heaven like countless generations before and to come 🎶

3. I had the privilege of gathering around two of the very best, Jordan and Benjamin, as they were ordained to Elders Orders in the Church of the Nazarene. As a Church at Megain, we had the privilege of hosting the service and this will forever be one of the highlights of my life. I love both these men dearly, they are wonderful friends and mighty men of God and I am thankful for them 🙌🏻

With Jesus, the Best is Yet to Come…and boy that’s an exciting thought ❤️

Today was a SIGNIFICANT and blessed day in the life of NMI on the British Isles North District.

After 30 (THIRTY) years - our esteemed President Cathy Tarrant, chaired her last District Convention!
As part of our Convention, Regional NMI Co-ordinator, Diane Robbins, presented Paul and Cathy a gift of appreciation for their many years of service.

THEN at our Evening Celebration, our District Superintendent presented Cathy with a Distinguished Service award.

Cathy, we love you, are thankful for you and will forever be indebted to you for your example of passion for Jesus and His mission! ❤️

In our last picture, you will see outgoing President Cathy with our newly elected President, Rev Sammy Robinson, who although wearing a size 10 shoe has BIG BIG shoes to fill!

We’ll post more details of the newly elected District Council over the next week or so - but for now, please be in prayer for them and make sure you tell Cathy and Paul how much you love and appreciate them 🙌🏻

What a joy to join the Eurasia Region of the Church of the Nazarene NYI @eurasianyi for their 24 Hours of Prayer. We were able to login a few different times, but perhaps the highlight was while our new Central Europe Field Family were hosting. This fell at the same time as we were making pancakes for Samuel’s Saturday School 3rd Grade Zoom Class. #Epistle

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. Not a bad wee day yesterday 😊
Everyone at Toddlers sang Happy Birthday (to me 🙈), lunch with two of my heroes (pictured), and last night I went to see Avengers: Endgame with Joanne and the kids (no photographic evidence, and no spoilers about which heroes may or may not have died 😉🦸‍♂️)

Katie and I took Gran/Mum out for a gourmet lunch on Sunday, and helped her choose Scottish calendars to take out to all the council members meeting in Guatemala this week 🇬🇹🍟🍔🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
(didn’t manage to post this until now, but didn’t want to show favouritism between parents 😉)
