Be part of this year’s Slow Fashion Week runways!

We’re looking for designers, stylists and creative collectives whose work reflects sustainable values, including:

👉 Upcycled, repaired or reworked fashion
👉 Vintage or reclaimed materials
👉 Natural or recycled fibres
👉 Slow fashion and small-scale production
👉 Rental, repair or circular fashion models
👉Collections that celebrate diverse identities, cultures and perspectives

You don’t need runway experience or an established label to sign-up, we’re just as excited to support emerging designers as experienced ones.

Looking back at my @thefromeindependent setups from the very beginning 🥹 They offered me a pitch in 2019 & I used to sell via a suitcase stall on Catherine’s Hill. This was a discounted student pitch & it allowed me to connect to my first clients & sow a seed to what I’ve grown (& what I’m still watering today!).
I had been carving wax since aged 19 but it wasn’t til I was 26 that I was taught silversmithing my the amazing @makeitwithkim in the evenings whilst studying a 4-year MArts as a young mature student at @universityofbristol 🤓 I didn’t have the skills or money to start my dream quickly & it took years of working in luxury retail in London & making bits n bobs to start at this point! 🥰

I got this red box things from tk maxx clearance. Some trays from wilko, a few eBay or charity shop finds & then I laid out what I’d made from my uni gaf.

I was renting a shocking place opposite @lidobristol & had a bad time with a rogue classist landlord, but I started carving from my bedroom & silversmithing from a a cupboard off of our basement kitchen 🤭 a lil goblin making willies in the cupboard

My fave colour is green🤫 I love colour so much & got nifty with some spray cans in 2019. I then muted things down display wise & then with some reassurance from @saladdaysmarketlondon I went BOLD with colour💃

Post pandemic & after some surgeries & a massive brain wobble, I returned to @thefromeindependent in 2022. With a bigger pitch!! Under cover 😎
By this point I had traded at @theofficialselfridges with @saladdaysmarketlondon & collected some more props 🌹

I then moved to the pitch I am still in today! Woweeee I’ve been there for 4 years now 😭🥹 I trade opposite Boots, outside Subway & alongside some proper heroes @emmachapmanpotter @hunter_and_collector @rebeccaedelmann @pulp_paper_heaven 🥰

My market aesthetic is coming together more & ngl I was spending too much on eBay 🫣🫠

You lot started turning up & getting really into my crafted jewels 🥹 I love you sooooo much for it.

Rosie baby started working with me & did a hell of a lot of events as my right hand hero. I

Surprise! I’ve been working on some NEW charm pieces throughout the past week and will be releasing them 🎀 tomorrow 🎀 (Tuesday 30th of June) at 7pm UK time. Just one of each as usual, so all very special.

Had the privilege of going to the taping of the very first episode of the new series of LATER WITH JOOLS HOLLAND at Alexandra Palace!

💐 Tavola Check 💐

Launched last Summer as part of our ‘Into the Garden’ collection this stunner of a linen was a sure fire fave last year. With a multicoloured check design featuring fuchsia pinks, peaches and burgundy on a forest green background she is such a dream to pair with ✨

Named ‘Tavola’, which literally translates to dinner table, she emulates the best tablecloth you could imagine a bountiful summer dinner being served upon 💚

Back for our summer season only, our Tavola Check will be available to order again from Thursday 30th April @ 6pm BST
