This week so far wow❤️

Monday was spent reliving my first triathlon(sprint ) , I’m still on cloud nine 🏊‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

Tuesday was for slowing down with an easy walk and soaking it all in.

Wednesday I was back on the track, then headed to my first Braves game. ⚾️ We also celebrated Miss Laura’s birthday early before her big 40 this weekend. 🎉

Thursday meant Beltline Run Club, catching up with friends.

Now I’m looking ahead Chicago Marathon, here I come! I’m so excited to step into a new season, not just training for my own goals, but coaching alongside so many Atlanta Track Club In Training athletes as they take on their marathons.

Weeks like this remind me of the difference between training and coaching. Training is about the miles, the workouts, and chasing personal goals. Coaching is about showing up for others, building community, and helping people believe in what they’re capable of

And honestly, getting to do both is what makes it all so special. ❤️ and plenty of walks with Roo. 🐾

Who says a run can’t double as a dance party? 🏃🏾‍♀️🎉 Had fun seeing friends, running at night, and dancing at the finish. 💕

26 Peachtree Road Races. 🍑🌳🇺🇸

Every year is different.

Some years I chase a PR.
Some years I chase a goal.
This year…I chased moments.

I slowed down, embraced the party pace, stopped for selfies, cheered on friends, thanked volunteers, high-fived spectators, and soaked in the energy that makes the Peachtree Road Race unlike any other.

The miles will fade, but these memories, friendships, and smiles are what I’ll remember most.

Here’s to 26 years of celebrating July 4th the Atlanta way. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you @atlantatrackclub for another Great Day 🍑🌳🙌🏾

Peachtree Road Race Expo & Run Club Weekend! 🍑🌳🇺🇸

The biggest running weekend of the year is here! Whether you’re heading to the expo, meeting up with your run club, or getting ready to tackle the world’s largest 10K, here’s how to beat the heat and enjoy every mile.

🔥 My top 10 Peachtree tips:

1. Freeze your hydration bottles the night before. Freeze one water and one electrolyte drink, but leave a little space so they can expand.
2. Freeze a small towel. Bring it with you and soak it again at hydration stations to cool your neck, arms, and face.
3. Got long hair? Wash it before the race and leave it damp. It can help keep you cooler in the early miles.
4. Wearing a hat? Get it wet before the start and again along the course.
5. Hydrate today and fuel with carbs. Race day starts the day before.
6. Replace your electrolytes. Salt tabs or a hydration drink with sodium and potassium can make a huge difference in the Georgia heat.
7. Adjust your expectations. This isn’t the race to chase a PR. Slow down, smile, high-five the crowds, and enjoy one of the best running events in the world.
8. Celebrate history. You’re running during America’s 250th birthday celebration. 🇺🇸
9. Be part of Peachtree history. For 57 years, this incredible race has welcomed around 60,000 runners from all 50 states and more than 30 countries. You’re part of something special.
10. Most importantly… HAVE FUN! 🤩

See you at the expo, see you with the run clubs, and see you on the start line. Let’s put a smile in the miles! 🍑🌳💙

RACE WEEEEEEEEEEEK!!! 🔥

Year 3️⃣ has a nice ring to it. 🥹

This weekend is going to be a good one. @angiegrijalvaa is coming back, and we get to run the Peachtree together again after running our first one in 2024. ❤️

The best part? Our crew keeps getting bigger every year, and I love seeing more familiar faces at the starting line.

I think year three officially makes it a tradition… right? 🧐

Who’s racing this weekend? 🙋‍♀️

4 miles. 97% humidity. 100% soaked. 🥵💦

If you could’ve wrung the sweat out of my shirt, you would’ve filled a water bottle. 😂

Saturday’s Peachtree is shaping up to be an absolute sauna, but the work is done. We’ve trained through the heat, embraced the humidity, and laughed our way through every miserable mile.

As ready as we’ll ever be. See y’all on the pavement. 🍑🏃🏽‍♀️
