My last pitch🥎

I’m not sure how the time flew by quick enough to be making my last post as a softball player. This sport has pushed me to my limit physically and mentally to be a great athlete, but even more, a Christ-like leader. To all the coaches, teammates, and supporters along the way, I’m so grateful our paths have crossed through the love of the game. Through God’s grace and love, I couldn’t be more satisfied to have written the final page of this story knowing that it will always be on my bookshelf. My time on the field may be done, but my love of softball and the people that come with it will always remain.

One final time,
#11 ✌️

Thank you, softball.

Thank you for being so much more than a game.

It started with a little girl with a pink helmet who was just there to have something to do after school and slowly became one of my greatest blessings. You were one of the most consistent things in my life for as long as I can remember- early mornings, late nights, laughs, tears, and every moment in between. You were there through it all: the highest of highs and lowest of lows.

Through the countless hours, you taught me so much. You taught me hard work, perseverance through setbacks, resilience when things didn’t go my way, confidence when I doubted myself, and so much more. You taught me how to push through even when the road gets a little rocky, and how to keep going, no matter what.

You gave me the best 15+ years. You gave me more memories and experiences than I could have ever imagined possible. You gave me my very best friends & so so so many girls (and their families) who have become family to me & mine.

It’s hard to say goodbye to something that’s meant so much, but this is simply just the beginning of another wonderful chapter!

I’ll forever be in debt to you, softball. Because of you, I am who I am & I’ll cherish that forever.

xoxo,
