As promised … here is the 2nd part of my most recent 3D project … Mr Hyde! Based on the amazing design work of @catttico!

Props modeled in Maya, character in ZBrush, texturing in Substance, rendered in Arnold, and composited in Premiere.

There were so many great comments and mentions with Dr Jekyll, thank you so much! That means the world to me! Special thanks to Catherine for allowing me to work on these beautiful character designs!

This is one of my sketches based on the fantastic character design for “Mr. HYDE” by my full-scholarship mentee @catttico. Every now and then I drew some sketches to quickly illustrate an idea or simply for inspiration. Thanks for the great time, Cat @catttico.

A little more than a week after a pure moment of joy, passion, and true happiness ✨ I still can’t quite process all the emotions of being in LA for the second time. Most of all, I still can’t believe how lucky I was to be an awardee of the Torsten Schrank Scholarship. I couldn’t have hoped for a better mentor. Just a few months with him pushed me to make a huge jump in my artistic journey! 🌴

Even if I didn’t take many pictures, those four days were truly amazing. It was an experience worth every bit of time, money, and energy. Everything feels like the beginning of something new, and I’m really holding onto that feeling. So get ready — more character art and new projects are definitely on the way! 👀

I’m deeply grateful for everyone I met, every conversation, every panel, and every minute spent with my incredible booth group : @periscature @m.mistio @catttico @teenillustrator @artofoliviaemrich & our guest @jasonsadler_t65 🫶🏻

CTNX 2025 was my first experience of animation expo, booth tabling, and meeting so many professionals as another (baby) artist, not just as a part of a class. So much has happened in such short amount of time, and I still can’t believe the amount of confidence and hope this event has brought me. Special thanks to Torsten who has been the best mentor I could ever ask for- not only for teaching us the artistic skills, but by opening so many doors and giving us the opportunity to talk with so many amazing artists including Jason! Thank you to my wonderful teammates as well. It was my pleasure to watch everyone’s creative process, and to meet all of you guys not only as artists, but as people. Thank you for being so nice and caring. I hope to make the friendships we have formed last, and I can’t wait to meet you guys again given the opportunity! I already miss everyone so so much, I just had to draw you guys.
.
I feel like I am a step closer to my dream of becoming a character designer, and I am filled with motivation to pursue the next steps and goals in my life. I’m also so excited for the future recipients who will get to experience what I got to. Let’s see where the future takes us!
.
I will upload more sketches I have drawn during CTNX so stay tuned! :)
