A little TLC on me by my girl @catwhite____
I accidentally deleted the trim and styling clip 🤦🏽‍♀️ but we did a little reverse styling for my fro (aka stretch and foam on the ends)

Alopecia is often an internal issue.

Many of us have vitamin D and iron deficiencies.

However, my hair loss was caused by an acute nervous condition that went untreated for years.

I’m revealing what lies beneath the stylish wigs I wear to show you that I have my own imperfections too.

The key difference is that I embrace my true self.

While I’m not arrogant, I am certainly confident.

I feel beautiful without hair and have even considered visiting a barber to shave it all off.

However, that’s not my personal preference; everyone has their own style. I enjoy having hair, and twelve years ago, I had a full head of long hair.

It’s no secret that I’ve always had lovely natural tresses.

If you’re tired of wearing wigs, there are alternatives available. You just need to find the right master stylist to achieve the look you desire.

After 12 years of hiding my baldness, my brilliant daughter helped me maneuver the hair and gave me a style that I loved

Nope, I never told her what hairstyle I wanted; she just did her thing! 😜

I've worn wigs for the last 12 years.
Not because of a trend, but a necessity.

I’ve always had lengthy, beautiful hair, but years of stress and anxiety, low iron, and vitamin D deficiencies have caused this alopecia

Thank you, @catwhite____ for this long overdue transformation ❤️

Looking like myself on our wedding day was incredibly important to me. As someone who doesn’t wear makeup often and typically has her hair in a scarf, I wanted to keep my beauty and hair as natural as possible. I had the pleasure of working with my go-to hair stylist, Cat of @catwhite____ and the incredible Kylee of @kyleehudsonstudio for makeup.

What I loved most about working with them both was not only how beautiful they made me feel but everyone in our wedding parties. They also worked so efficiently that we were hours ahead of schedule.

I also have to shoutout my eyebrow stylist, @kandes.beauty, and facialist, @theskinstoop for preparing me months in advance.
