I had the pleasure of bringing Caught ‘N Style to The Pink Party on the Plaza this Saturday! 🥹🎀

My mom is a breast cancer survivor 💕 so this one meant a little more to me. I was looking for a way to use my services to support the cause, and this felt like the perfect opportunity.

I am so inspired by the joy, strength, and resilience in this community. Grateful I got to capture a little of it. 🫶🏾

Congratulations to @capusaharlem on their 30th Anniversary! Super dope event. I was able to hear @ceodiallo talk about his journey into his business and learned a lot from it. Also the owner of @capsule_nyc Daniel spoke about his life and journey into his business. Nothing but motivation. Shoutouts to @godonuts_harlem had everyone get right with their donuts 🍩. Huge shoutout to the team over at @shopify for yet another legendary event, it couldn’t get any more New York in SoHo last night.🗽‼️ Also extremely proud of and inspired by @capusaharlem x @capsule_nyc ‘s stories, to think where ya started from to where ya at now, it’s just proof to any creative entrepreneur to never stop regardless of what’s happening around you. But my biggiest take away from this event was that yes the money is important but nothing is more important than GOD & the ones you consider FAMILY. Taking the time to listen more and putting in the real hours of work will only result in success and longevity. Yesterday was more than a celebration it was a reminder of what can happen when vision, culture, and community stand the test of time. ❤️ @unityofthe1000

I had the honor of attending CAP*USA's @capusaharlem 30th Anniversary Celebration in SoHo, celebrating 30 years of Harlem culture, entrepreneurship, creativity, and legacy.

The Entrepreneurship Panel was a real highlight. Hearing from people who have taken an idea, built through the challenges, and created something that continues to impact their community was inspiring.

A special thank you to Diallo and the CAP*USA team for the warm welcome and for creating a space where people could connect, celebrate, and share.

📸 Shout-out to @caughtnstyle for bringing the photo booth activation and capturing some great moments.

🍩 And to the incredible team at GO Donuts thank you for the hospitality, great energy, and amazing customer service. Your team made the experience even better!

I walked away from the evening reminded that community is built through connection by meeting people, hearing their stories, supporting their work, and finding ways to build something meaningful together.

I rarely pop my shit, but ima take a second now. 💥

My photobooth was delivered on August 9, 2023 — damn near 3 years ago to the date. 3 years later, I’m setting up for an event with my new client, Tik Tok.

When I think about that time, I was so excited that God gave me this idea. I had spent hours researching and getting excited because I had finally found my escape from education. I’m sitting here trying to describe the feeling of believing in yourself wholeheartedly despite all the unknowns, and I realize that’s what you call Faith. Trusting that God will literally guide you and illuminate the path for you as you go. You literally just gotta take the steps — small, big, leaps and jumps. I remember getting the photobooth and then being like, “aight now I gotta get some clients.” I scoured Eventbrite for people throwing parties every weekend offered my services for freeee….just to get my feet wet, and now look. :) brick by brick, fam.

And truthfully we’re really JUST getting started. The fun is literally just beginning. The next phase is becoming a better businesswoman and documenting everything! If you sleep, wake that ass up, cause it’s time! 💪🏾
