✨𝕄𝕚𝕟𝕚 𝔹𝕠𝕠𝕜 ℝ𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕖𝕨𝕤✨ Another round of some mini reviews! Really enjoying this format. Helps me share more I feel like than I usually would. Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin The Very Definition of Love by Sophia Benoit Hide the Witches by Miranda Lyn Shadows Lot by B.K. Cavaleri ❓𝘘𝘖𝘛𝘋: ✨ 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸𝘴?❓ Serpent & Dove by Shelby Mahurin Serpent & Dove #1 Finally read this! I did like it but had a hard time in the beginning connecting with any of the characters. Not sure if it was the writing or what but it did take me about halfway through before I was pretty invested. I did enjoy the romance. The natural progression of their feelings was nice especially after the start they had. I thought the setting was really atmospheric and it had a really interesting vibe! I will definitely read the next book because man I need to! The Very Definition of Love by Sophia Benoit What a fun historical romance! I really enjoyed Harriet. I thought she was really peculiar and funny. Unabashedly herself which was so fun. Really gave me that Bridgerton vibe. Their tension was sooooo good. It was such a fun dynamic. While Harriet was quite forthright she was also sheltered. So it was fun to see Lord Alexander help her which usually turned into either super steamy moments or moments where I was cackling. Just overall a fun and easy read. I did listen to the audio and follow along with the hardcover. My fave type of reading! Hide the Witches by Miranda Lyn Hide the Witches #1 Talk about wanting to jump into a book and punch a character in the face. My goodness! I am so glad I finally read this one. I loved it! I absolutely loved the story. The writing really pulled me in and I was so hooked from the very beginning. I really enjoyed Syneca. I thought she was a well-rounded FMC. I loved the side characters too. I thought they added a lot of different elements. Pip is one of my faves. Keeping this spoiler free there were a few things I wanted to throw the book after reading! Like what the heck! Like what a way to throw me off the scent of predicting things! I mean I had tiny little inklings but that was

She works as a doctor of physical therapy and health coach as well as a writer…that's the hat she wears when the babies are sound asleep in their beds and hubby is entranced by The Office reruns. It's during that time she gets to dream and make it come to life on paper. It seemed a shame to keep it all to herself, so she has decided to step out of the shadows and release her stories to the world. Genuinely some of the kindest people I’ve met on this platform and I think they should get a shot out!! I’ve been obsessed with these series and can’t wait to finish some of them, wait for the next book, or mourn that it’s over! Please hop in my DMs always to discuss these! Not only is this flatlay compromised of some incredible recs but it’s honestly so visually pleasing! I picked the books before I put it together and was so surprised with how well the colors went together. 💬have you read any of these books or authors??

✨3 physical TBR hopefuls!✨ Because when I do this, it creates some accountability and I’m more likely to do what I say and dive into the books, 📚 plus I get to show you all how beautiful they are and highlight some of my plants 🪴 too - win-win, right? 😉 💚 Shadows Lost by @cavaleri.archive.author I met her at Forbidden Love and her vibes IRL are exactly how she is online! She is such a sweetheart of a person and I can wait to get lost in the world she created! 🩵 The Truth-Teller’s Bargain by @camillewolfewood She will be at @teaandtropesevents Snowed In this December and I want to dive into and read this book before I meet her there! I’m already about 10% of the way in and am loving it! 🩷 Dating in Decay by @authorlindseymontgomery which we are featuring with our @indielitlovers crew this month. Yes, I read this as an ARC, but I’m excited to dive into this zombie apocalypse world again that’s filled with found family, survival, grit, and so much more! Q: What books are up next on your physical TBR? By the way - is it just me or does the word physical just look weird if you stare at it to long? I kept second guessing my spelling! 😂

SHADOWS LOST by @cavaleri.archive.author ✨There was SO much I loved about this book! You have emotional depth, character development, and plot twists all over the place! I was OBSESSED. I LOVE Remnant and Emon. Their banter was freaking PHENOMENAL, and their dynamic had me completely invested. Remnant is a shadow-wielding general who is fierce, sassy, quick-witted, and basically everything I want in a FMC. Obviously she’s officially added to my list of favorite shadow mommy’s 🖤😏 And Emon?! This man was charming, swoony, hilarious, and a powerful shifter with secrets of his own. The chemistry, banter, tension… YES PLEASE. GIVE ME MORE👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 The world is easy to follow, which I appreciated so much. I never felt overwhelmed trying to figure out the magic system or what was happening, and the story just pulled me in more and more. It was action-packed with plenty of lighter, funny moments mixed in, and the FOUND FAMILY?! Freaking EVERYTHING!!!! If you love fantasy, fierce FMCs, powerful shifters, banter, found family, secrets, action, and a romance that has me kicking my feet… The Remnant Archives NEEDS to be on your list!!!
