Have you been up to the Wild Horses Monument to see the 15 steel horses above the Columbia River? Created by David Govedare in 1989, this piece is actually called Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies. This was a gift to celebrate Washington’s Centennial in 1989 and originally was going to have 18 total horses, a huge woven steel basket, and a steel “Grandfather”, that represents the Great Spirit. Unfortunately, funding fell short to complete the full vision, but it is still an incredible art piece to see! The walk up from the parking lot off of I90, 1.5 miles east of the Vantage Bridge, is short but steep. It wasn’t difficult to get up there, but keeping your footing is challenging, especially on the way down! Be sure to go see it if you have the chance 🐴

✨️ Beyond Wonderland • Day 2 ✨

By day two, reality had officially checked out.

The glitter was everywhere, my voice was nearly gone, my feet had filed their complaints, and somehow we still found ourselves dancing from one set to the next like the weekend had just begun.

This is the part of a festival I love most—not the headliners or the photos, but the people. The random conversations that turn into genuine friendships. The hugs from people you've known for five minutes. The reminder that kindness still exists, and that music has a way of bringing thousands of completely different people together for one shared experience.

Here's to saying yes to one more set, one more laugh, one more adventure, and one more memory of this beautiful weekend. ✨🩷🎶
